TOLANI MARITIME INSTITUTE-INDURI

INSTITUTE CROSS-COUNTRY (ICC) CHAMPIONSHIP 2024-25

DATE:- 20th OCt’2024


MUSTER TIME:- 0600 Hrs.
START TIME:- 0630 Hrs.
STARTING POINT:- CRICKET FIELD, PANSARE BASTI
FINISHING POINT:- CLUB HOUSE

Route:- **Cross Country Route distance- 5 kms (for boys), 4 kms (for Girls)

**Time Limit(Boys):- 30 minutes, Start-Pansare Basti, Finish- Club House
**Time Limit(Girls):- 30 minutes, Start-HOUSING GATE, Finish- CLUB HOUSE

General Guidelines: -

1. Participation of all the house members is must/countable for Institute Cross


Country.

2. There will be 4 enclosures, based on the time limits, set prior to competition.

3. Enclosure- ‘A’ will earn 10 points each. Bonus points for first 10 Boys and First
03 Girls, according to their position.

4. Enclosure- ‘B’ will earn 4 points each, No Bonus points.

5. Enclosure- ‘C’ will earn 02 points each, No Bonus points.

6. Enclosure- ‘D’ All those who comes is ‘D’ enclosure will be considered as
Failure and will be receive -02 points each, if they complete the race after
stipulated time.

7. All those who could not complete the race & had to take Ambulance will
receive -05 points. They will join Enclosure- ‘F’ or to be admitted in Sickbay
during counting period.

8. Students not running without valid reason (leave, Excused Medically or


Hospitalized etc.) not present at the start line/finish line shall be receive -20
points.

9. Total points earned by the house will be divided by the born strength of the
house to arrive at the final score of the house.

10. Born Strength of the house will be including all the cadets of the house
including students on leave, hospitalized, sick and medically excused from the
cross country.
11. The official entrusted with the task of the counting participants of
respective house shall be authorized to reward 10 negative points for
unnecessary delay by the students/house.

12. Any complaint or dispute is to be brought to the notice of SOH by the


HCC within 20 minutes of completion of the race.

13. SOH will be the official time keeper, he will decide and direct the opening/
closing of each enclosure.

14. House T-shirt will be compulsory for all the participants.

15. Any case of Malpractice, not displaying sportsman like behavior shall
ensure his/her house receives -30 points.

16. HCC shall give the house report (Running Cadets) to the Sports
Coordinator 2 days prior to the run.

17. This Institute cross country will count as Major Inter House Sports
Activity, points will be 10,06,04,02.
