Duties of a member of CulturaliSports Council
Duties of a member of Cultural/Sports Council
1. The foremost duty of a member of any of the councils of the college isto engage in scholarly activities
with devotion and to avoid conflicts of interest with others in order to create an environment of mutual
‘rust in which good learning becomes possible.
2. He/She should attend classes regularly as per university requirement.
3. He/She must not be guilty of any act of misbehaviour towards others which is Hkely to damage the
reputation of the college.
4, He/She should not make use of the college property such as college stationery, letterhead, phone,
official(College E-mail I or computers for non-academic purposes.
5. He/She should not disrupt the learning environment inthe classroom in any manner.
6. He/She should show proper respect to teachers, other members ofthe college staff and should maintain
amicable relations with them, other members of the council and all students of the college in general,
Inside the college as well as outside the college.
7. He/She may make suggestions for improvement in working of the council of which he/she fs a member
or office-bearer by suggesting inclusion, under its purview, of some more rules or matters concerning
students discipline and welfare.
8. He/She should encourage other students te participate in cultural and sports programs conducted

internships, exchanges, athletic competitions or work/study programs.
410, He/she must execute all decisions conveyed to him by the authorities in organizing and conducting
activities assigned to him/ner inside the college or in another college.
UL. Students desirous of participating in sports and cultural activities outside the college must take
permission of the appropriate authority in the college at least fifteen days in advance and they must
represent the college, off-campus with proper decorum.
42. Contributions to college activities should not contain any thing likely to hurt the religious Feelings of
anybody and anything likely to harm the Interests ofthe college.
