Description
Dr. Fixit All Seal is based on modified co-polymer enriched with special additive designed for cementitious
composition. When added as a polymer, It offers excellent workability, uniform coating, stable slurry dispersion,
easier and faster application resulting best waterproofing properties..
307 Dr. Fixit All Seal
Typical Application
} Waterproofing – Sunken portion of bathrooms and toilets, balconies, exposed roof before finished screed.
} Concrete Repair – Spalled concrete, repairing of beam and pre-cast slab, chajjas etc.
} Plaster Repair – Repairing plaster or making waterproof screed which is better than normal plaster.
} Bond Coat – For bonding old concrete to new concrete, plaster, brick masonry.
Feature & Benefits
} High strength Si Bond polymer – Bonds strongly to concrete, masonry, stonework, plasters, cementitious surfaces.
} Shrinkage/crack control – High flexural / tensile strength to control cracking.
} Enhanced Rheology : Enables roller application , leading to time saving with easy and faster application
} Mortar modifier – Homogeneous fresh mix, easy to apply and place.
} Cracking / Shrinkage – Reduced shrinkage and cracking tendency.
} Repairs - Overall very high strength and durability.
} Easy to identify: Inherent characteristic of polymer, no spot can be left untreated
} Excellent dispersion of cement particles : It covers the surface evenly and forms uniform polymer rich coating.
Method of Application
1 S U R FAC E P R E PA R AT I O N
} Clean the surface with wire brush or scrubber to remove hidden dirt, loose particles, laitance & dust. Degrease
the surface by using suitable solvents.
} Repair the spalled concrete portion by saw, cutting the extreme edges of the repair location to a depth of at
least 10 mm to avoid featheredging & to provide strong bond.
} Clean the concrete surface to remove any contamination, where breaking is not possible, roughen the surface
by light scrabbling or grit blasting.
} For priming of concrete substrate, the surface should be thoroughly saturated with potable water. Remove any
excess of water prior to application.

} For a waterproofing coating Mix Dr. Fixit All Seal: Cement in the ratio 1:1 by volume.
} Mix for 2-3 minutes to avoid air entrapment. Keep on slowly adding cement to Dr. Fixit All Seal until lump free
required consistency is achieved.
} Apply 2 coats of the slurry by roller or brush on the prepared concrete substrate in the interval of 4-6 hours
between the coats and allow it to cure.
} Overlay the coating with a protective screed to the desired slope & thickness.
3 B O N D COAT
} To prepare the bond coat, mix Dr. Fixit All Seal : Cement in the ratio 1:0.5 by volume.
} Mix for 2-3 minutes to avoid air entrapment. Keep on slowly adding cement to Dr. Fixit All Seal until lump free
required consistency is achieved.
} Apply 1 coats of the slurry by roller or brush on the prepared concrete substrate.
} Ensure to overlay the repair mortar when the bond coat is still tacky.

} A suitable mix ratio for patching repair mortar or render is as follows:
} Mix design - Portland Cement: 50 kg, graded quartz sand: 150 kg, Dr. Fixit All Seal : 3-4 Kg & Water: 12 - 15 litres
} Adequate moist curing shall be carried out for a week.

} Mix design - Portland Cement: 50 kg, Washed sand: 75 kg, 6 mm downsize aggregates: 75 kg, Dr. Fixit All Seal :
4-5 Kg & Water: 10 - 12 litres.

} A forced action mixer is essential (PAN Mixer) & recommended to ensure that Dr. Fixit All Seal is thoroughly
mixed. Use a suitable sized drum with heavy-duty electrical drill machine fitted with spiral paddle mixer at slow
speed of 400-500 rpm.
} Charge the mixer with required quantity of clean & dry sand (or coarse aggregates as needed), cement & mix for
1-2 minutes, then add the recommended dosage of Dr. Fixit All Seal dispensed in water which is pre-batched. Mix
for 2-3 minutes to avoid air entrapment. Keep on slowly adding water until the required consistency is achieved.
CURING
As soon as the Dr. Fixit All Seal modified mortar and screed achieves its final set, adequate moist curing shall be
carried out for a week. Water sprinkling, ponding or the use of a non-degradable type of curing compound may be
used.
Precautions & Limitations
} Recommended dosage to be followed to achieve desired results.
} When working in hot temperature conditions, extra water may be added to the repair mortar to compensate for
the evaporation loss & make the mortar workable.
} All surfaces including edges must be primed.
} All applications should be wet on wet; the primer must not be allowed to dry. The level of added water in the mix
designs may need adjusting to achieve the required consistency.
} In general water content should be kept to the minimum necessary.
} For consistent performance the use of clean, dry sand is recommended. Where wet sand is used, reduce the
added water level as appropriate.
} Protect uncured mortar from frost. Do not retemper mortar or primer after initial set.
} Application to be carried out from 10 degC to max 40 degC.
