FINISHED KNIT MEASUREMENTS:
Approx 27 ½" [70 cm] circumference;
11" [28 cm] height (unfolded).

One size fits all adults.

KNITTING LEVEL: Intermediate

TECHNIQUES USED:
 k = knit
 p = purl
 working in the Rnd with
circular needle
 1/1 RC = Slip 1 stitch to cable
needle and hold in back; k1; k1
from cable needle
 1/1 LC = Slip 1 stitch to cable
needle and hold in front; k1; k1
from cable needle
 2/2/2 RPC = Slip 4 sts to cable
needle and hold in back; k2, sl 2
leftmost sts from cable needle to

 A bulky weight yarn in a soft merino blend:

KNITTING THE COWL


CO 90 sts. Join in the rnd with a st marker to mark end of each rnd.
Work in Ribbing:
Rnds 1 through 4 [RS]: *K1, p1; rep from * around.

Establish Pinwheel Patt:


Reset Row counter to 0.
Rnd 1: [Work Rnd 1 of Pinwheel patt st] 5 times.

Cont in Pinwheel patt st through Rnd 39.

Finish with Ribbing:


Next 4 Rnds: *K1, p1; rep from * around.
BO all sts in ribbing. Cut yarn and fasten off.

FINISHING
Weave in all loose ends. Block cowl to measurements.
