Career Guidance Program is designed to help learners explore their
choices and make responsible decisions relevant to career pathing. These
include planning for their track and strand for Senior High School, choosing
their curriculum exits (Higher Education, Employment, Entrepreneurship, and
Middle Level Skills Development) and planning for their future. CGP aims to
guide not only secondary level students but also elementary learners in
exploring career tracks that interest them towards becoming productive and
contributing individuals as stated in RA 10533otherwise known as the Basic
Rationale Education Act of 2013.
DepEd issues DM-OUCI-2021-347 to ensure the proper implementation
of the Career Guidance Program for S.Y. 2022-2023 which includes Career
Guidance Orientation, Career Guidance Learning Activity Plan, Career
Counseling and Consultation, and Curriculum Exit Tracking System. In line
with this, the school is hereby proposing a career day on _________________.
The conduct of the Career Guidance Activity for Elementary Learners intends
to:
Objectives 1. Ensure the continuity of the career development process;
2. Employ a systematic set of activities and procedures in the
implementation of the career guidance program; and
3. Establish support mechanisms that contribute to the attainment of the
Department’s career guidance program

I. Career Bulletin Board
Activities Update school bulletin board with career information
II. Careers in my Community
Invite a personality from the community and allow her/him to talk to the students
about her/his career during the opening program preferably after the flag ceremony.
III. Career Dress up
Students will dress up according to their desired careers. If this activity is already
done or if students lack resources then an alternative activity called Professional
Paper Dolls will be done by k-3 learner.
IV. Classroom Activities
Career Alphabet (k-3)- Have students or groups of students complete an alphabetized
chart of careers. Print out a chart with one letter of the alphabet in each box and have
students fill in careers that start with each letter. Introduce new careers to the learners

Committee on After Care shall be supervised and aided by all of the members of
the event, ensuring that all borrowed items are returned, and event area cleaned.
After Care Management Team shall be the last team to leave the venue to check on possible
left items & cleanliness of the venue.

Sustainability The celebration of Career Guidance Week must be done every year as part of
the Guidance and Counseling Program not only to commemorate the day but to help
reduce the stigma in mental health issues.
