What is the difference between the preconscious and
unconscious?.

The preconscious and unconscious are different areas of the mind where
thoughts exist.
In general, people are fully unaware of the thoughts in their unconscious.
And it´s similar of the thoughts in the unconscious.
However, unlike those in the unconscious, thoughts in the preconscious
are easy to recall and become part of the consciousness at any time.
2. What are automatic behaviors, and what causes
them?
Automatic behaviors are actions that people perform without being aware of
them. People perform many of these behaviors every day. They include normal
bodily functions, such as respiration and muscle movements. They also include
learned behaviors that become so familiar that someone no longer needs to think
about them.
