Before your cancellation form is submitted, the management staff at Harbortouch (HT) would like to take this final
opportunity to retain your merchant account. It is our policy at HT to retain accounts as aggressively as possible rather then to
assess an Early Termination Fee to your account. All accounts are valued and are treated accordingly. If anything can be done
to retain your merchant account, please contact us at 1-800-201-0461 option 3.
If we cannot retain the account, we would like to remind you of the contractual obligation between yourself and HT. The
agreement, unless otherwise stipulated, has an early termination clause. This clause states that upon early termination one of two
penalties will be assessed. Those penalties would be either $35.00 (thirty five) a month for the remainder of the contract or
$250.00 (two hundred fifty), whichever is greater. This is not a penalty for terminating but rather a reasonable charge in light of
financial harm caused by the early termination. Furthermore, this fee does not include liability for equipment or any other charges.
It is also imperative that you remember that you are responsible for any chargebacks or debits for transactions prior to termination.
Please fill out the remaining portion of this form and fax it back to my attention. Since the merchant account agreement is
a legal contract it cannot be terminated without Harbortouch being in receipt of this signed form. Once received, the account will
be closed within 20 business days. It will be your responsibility to verify receipt of the form.
If your merchant processing agreement is being discontinued due to extenuating circumstances or you would like to
resume processing, please contact HT at 1-800-201-0461 option 3 so we can resolve any issues preventing us from processing
