EXPERIMENT – 01

Objective – Installing ORACLE/MYSQL.


Theory - MySQL is an open-source relational database management
system (RDBMS) that stores and manages data. It's a popular choice
for developers because of its reliability, performance, scalability,
and ease of use.
1. To download MYSQL workbench for windows, Go to the
following link- https://dev.mysql.com/downloads/installer/
and download the suitable windows installer according to your
operating system and system specifications.

2. After opening the install .exe file, you will see the following
interface
3. Select Custom option and click on Next. On the Select
Products screen select the following and click on next.
4. You will land on the following screen, ignore any Path conflicts
if prompted and click on execute and wait till all the products
are installed and then click on next.

5. On the product configuration screen. Click on configure and


the following UI will appear on the screen.
Keep Type and Networking on it’s default settings, and hit
Next.Select Use Strong Password Encryption for
authentication and click on Next.

6. Choose a strong password for the current root user and click
on check and then next.
7. Click on next in Windows service screen keeping the values at
their default

8. And finally at the next screen, click on execute


9. After the execution is finished, click on finish then next and
then finally click on Finish to complete the setup.
