WELCOME TO THE Sanxing-1000-610 ACM TRAINING COURSE 1-1

1. 1 Introduction

Welcome to Sanxing Automatic Construction Machine 1000-610 training program.

During this training course, information will be presented to you through our globally
proven methodology covering design, operation, erection, trouble shooting, and
operator maintenance of the ACM System. Our program provides you the opportunity
to apply the knowledge and skills learned in a classroom and field environment, for
use in real applications.

1. 2 Company History

Sanxing is located in Yingkou City, Liaoning Province, China. Sanxing is the sole manufacturer of
the ACM(Automatic Construction Machine).

1. 3 COURSE OVERVIEW

You will be participating in a combination of classroom and field experiences designed to develop
the necessary skills needed to be successful with the ACM system. The majority of the training
time will be spent learning-by-doing with immediate feedback.

Sanxing’s Technical Support Specialists are experts on all aspects of the ACM. They will explain,
demonstrate, invite discussion, and test your ability to execute the learned skills effectively.
Students are encouraged to follow instructions in the classroom and in the field for the duration of
training. Please ask questions and stay involved in the training process. All students should keep
safety first and foremost in their minds. Bring any hazard to the attention of Technical Support
Specialist.

THE WRITTEN TEXT, EXAMPLES, AND ILLUSTRATIONS SHOWN IN THIS MANUAL

AND PRACTICED DURING THE “ON-THE-JOB” PORTION OF THE TRAINING ARE NOT
TO BE TAKEN AS THE ABSOLUTE AND ONLY WAY TO CONSTRUCT ACM SYSTEM
STRUCTURES. AS IS THE CASE WITH MOST CONSTRUCTION PROCEDURES, THERE
ARE SEVERAL DIFFERENT WAYS TO ACCOMPLISH THE SAME OBJECTIVES. THESE
ARE SANXING’S RECOMMENDED METHODS. HOWEVER, DIFFERENT CREWS WITH
VARYING LEVELS OF EXPERIENCE AND VARYING TYPES OF EQUIPMENT MAY FIND
ALFTERNATE WAYS OF ACHIEVING SIMILAR END RESULTS. WITH GROWING
EXPERIENCE, YOU TOO MAY DEVELOP UNIQUE CONSTRUCTION PRACTICES OF
YOUR OWN.

2. 1. 3 De-coiler Assembly
The de-coiler assembly consists of three components: the de-coiler stand - cradles the de-coiler
assembly; the de-coiler-which slides inside the steel coil and holds it suspended during panel
forming: the torque limiter - a device that prevents the steel coil from de-spooling during the
forming process.

A nylon sling is used to lift the coils for loading. Always inspect this sling before using it to
ensure there are no cuts or wear spots that could result in failure of the sling. Always use a wood
block between the coil and sling to prevent the sling from being cut during the lifting operation.

2. 1. 4 Panel Machine and Curver

The panel machine is a 12-step roll forming process. This machine converts a 24-inch (0. 61m)
wide flat sheet of steel into a 12-inch (0. 31m) wide panel. It is equipped with a hydraulic
guillotine that cuts the panel to the desired length.

Curver Machine
The curver is a two-stage process. It takes a straight panel produced from the panel machine and
curves it in an arch shape. The flnges of the panel profile are crimped by the first stage,
which is the side crimper. The belly of the panel is crimped by the second stage; the main
crimper.

12
Sanxing-1000-610 ACM TRAINNING MANUAL 2-10

1.. Verify the structural integrity of the container or flatbed. The container tie downs
must be fully welded and the floor must be structurally sound. There are generally
up to 12tie downs located in the container. A typical tie down can hold 200kg. If
the tie down is damaged, it must be repaired properly. Keep in mind, you can
always reject a damaged container and have the shipyard provide one that is not
damaged.
2.. Place the steel stand (B), four wheel chocks (E), and eight turnbuckles (A)
in the middle rear of the container in advance of loading.
3.. Carefully back the machine into the container with an 3600kg minimum forklift
or towing vehicle of adequate size. One man must be in the rear of the container for
guidance. One mac must be a each side of the container on the outside to visually
watch the machine so it does mot contact the sides of the container. The forklift
operator must back the machine in place and receive instructions form the person in
the container. The person in the rear of the container must lie down to floor level as
the machine is being loaded. The recommended “rear clearance” is 36 incher (1
meter) for the Sanxing-1000-610.
4.. Once the machine is in place, lower the front of the machine be pulling
release pins (D) on the drop legs (C) with assistance of a forklift.
5.. Place the steel stand (B) under the trailer frame as close to the rear tire as
possible. Be sure that the correct stand is used.
6.. Raise the front of the trailer using the drop jacks and forklift until the trailer
FULLY RESTES on the stands (B). The inside operator must ensure the integrity of
this procedure.
7.. Insert the four wheel chocks (G) and mail them firmly in place to the floor of the
container. A pneumatic nailer using 16D common nails is preferred because of the
minimal clearance under the machine. The chocks must contact at least two tires on
each side of the machine.
8.. Install two rear turnbuckles (A) to the tie down of the trailer and the container tie
down (one each side). Tighten the turnbuckles securely using wrench or pry bar.
The turnbuckles should pull at slight angles.

13
Sanxing-1000-610 ACM TRAINNING MANUAL 2-11

9.. . . . Install two front axle turnbuckles (A) to the tie down of the trailer and the
container tie down (one each side). These should be located as close to the front
axle as possible. There will be a trailer tie down located in this position. Tighten
the turnbuckles securely using wrench or pry bar. The turnbuckles should pull at
slight angles as shown. The steel stand (B) shall be checked at this time for firmness.
It shall be firmly tight to the frame and the floor.
10.. . Install two intermediate turnbuckles (A) to the tie down of the trailer and the
container tie down (one each side). Tighten the turnbuckles securely using wrench
or pry bar. The turnbuckles should pull at slight angles.
11.. . Install two front turnbuckles (A) to the tie down of the trailer and the container
tie down (one each side). Their location shall simulate the drawing above. Tighten
the turnbuckles securely using wrench or pry bar. The turnbuckles should pull at
slight angles.
12.. . Place and install front blocks (F) at the two front jack stands. Mail firmly in
place completely around the drop legs and to the container floor. These blocks shall
be standard framing lumber 2”*4” minimum. The blocking shall be placed as shown
in the preceding drawings.
13.. . Place all other containers and shipping crates in the container and nail firmly
in place to the floor. Add wood braces on the top of the crates to keep them from
overturning. Each situation will require different bracing. Use sound judgment and
add extra braces when unsure. Transportation over rough seas is very treacherous to
the inside cargo.

2. 5 Storage Data
If the Sanxing-1000-610 is expected to remain idle for long periods of time, it should be kept in
a shelter out of the elements. This will prevent rust and corrosion from forming. If it is
impossible or impractical to store the ACM inside, it should have all vinyl covers firmly in place.
In addition, the tires should be covered to protect them from deterioration caused by continuous
and prolonged exposure to the sun’s rays.

It would be prudent as well to examine the ACM after heavy rain or snow to see if moisture has
collected under the protective covers. Puddles should be mopped up and dried to help retard
corrosion.

The diesel engine should be started up and run until it reaches operating temperature every 90
days. While running, the hydraulic controls should be manipulated once every 90 days, and bring
the engine to operating temperature. Fuel should not be left standing in the tank of either engine
over long periods of time, as it may congeal and create problems in starting. It is best to run the
engines until they are out of fuel as preparation for long-term storage. The battery should be
disconnected during storage to prevent discharge, especially during cold weather.

2. 6 Towing

A lunette type hitch is used to tow the Sanxing-1000-610.

A. . . . No part of towing vehicle should extend rearward from this point more than 2 in.
(50mm).
B. Adjust lunette hitch to maintain trailer level when towing.
D. Trailer static tongue weight is approximately 43303kg with optional crane; 2491 kg static
weight crane.

Total trailer weight is approximately 10, 800 kg static. DynaSanxing weights (while trailer is in
motion) will be much greater, depending on road conditions and driver skills. Hitch
components and bracing must be designed with this in mind.
