4. FIRST AID MEASURES

General advice : Take off immediately all contaminated clothing

(including shoes)

Inhalation : Move patient from contaminated area to fresh air.

Consult a doctor quickly

Skin contact : Wash immediately, abundantly and thoroughly with soap and water
Take victim immediately to hospital.

Eye contact : Wash open eyes immediately, abundantly and thoroughly for at least
15 minutes.
Consult an ophthalmologist immediately

Ingestion : Do NOT induce vomiting.

If swallowed, rinse mouth with water (only if the person is conscious).
Take victim immediately to hospital.

5. FIRE-FIGHTING MEASURES

Suitable extinguishing media : Foam, carbon dioxide, dry powder extinguishers.

Use suitable means to extinguish neighbouring fires.

Specific hazards : Possible formation of carbon oxides, phosphor oxides and hazardous
organic compounds.

Specific methods : Collect contaminated fire extinguishing water separately. This must
not be discharged into drains.
Fire residues and contaminated fire extinguishing water must be
disposed of in accordance with local regulations.

Special protective equipment : In the event of fire, wear self-contained breathing apparatus.

6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES

Personal precautions : Use personal protective equipment.

Ensure adequate ventilation.
Evacuate personnel to safe areas.

Environmental precautions : Prevent product from entering drains.

Methods for cleaning up : Keep in suitable, closed containers for disposal.

Recovery : Contain spillage, and then collect with non-combustible absorbent

material, (e.g. sand, earth, diatomaceous earth, vermiculite).

Neutralisation : Wash the floor with copious quantities of water.

Elimination : Place in container for disposal according to local / national regulations

7. HANDLING AND STORAGE

Handling
Technical : Provide water supplies, ocular fountains and showers near the point of
measures/Precautions use.

Safe handling advice : Do not breathe vapours or spray mist.

Avoid exposure - obtain special instructions before use.
Smoking, eating and drinking should be prohibited in the application
area.
Open drum carefully as content may be under pressure.
Strictly limit the quantities of product in the work area to those which
are absolutely necessary for the work in hand

Storage
Technical : Containers which are opened must be carefully resealed and kept
measures/Storage upright to prevent leakage.
