U can score an S or A grade but it requires practice in order to be able to solve problems. It is easier than DL as you have plenty of questions to practice and clarify your concepts. Preferably watch lectures and then

DEEP A difficult course to do if you are not sincere enough or missing even a single
Available LEARNING concept.
Like DL, this is also a very interesting subject. Initial weeks are challenging
as they contain entirely new concepts, however as the course progresses, it
becomes interesting. Professor Khemani's body langauage seems that he is
uninterested, however that is a decpetion. He is an excellent professor and
he attends all weekly live sessions. Support by Baskaran is excellent and he
replies promptly on discourse. Initially I found him rude, however as the
interactions increased, I found him a nice guy. Have a headstart by going
through the lecture videos during the break time. Once you get the concepts,
you really enjoy the course.
Strategies for Graded assignments may vary. I had a subjective assignment to be typed
Professional after reading some excerpts in weeks 4 and 9. But they can be done based
Available Growth (SPG) on general understanding without even watching lectures. Mandatory Course.
Group Project is in this course and that will surely give you marks. No quiz 1
in this course. You need to type subjective answers in Quiz2 and End sem
watch out for those cuz they don't give easy marks. type what you know
about the topic and example related to it only, nothing else. If you wants
marks in subjective question. Stay connected with your group and Try to get
most of the marks from project.
For working professionals like me, it looked like that they stretched a week
course into a 12 weeks course. For freshers, course might be relevant, but
for working professionals it is mostly useless. Consumes a lot of time, there
are weekly assignments, group project and other projects. Through group
project, you make many good friends. Now the course is mandatory, so
complete the assignments on time. There are only 2 quiz, quiz2 and final
quiz. Make a good team for the project. Thats very important otherwise you
will waste lots of time
This is by far the most enjoyed course. The videos are shot in different way.
Problem statements are present in real context. The project part is fun, you
tend to understand real world problem and work for solution. The project
teaches you coordination with team members. Their are live session every
alternate week where both professor and instructors are present. They are
chill and we have like open ended conversation. Frankly, our team enjoyed
Design working for project, learning new tools and stuff. Also their regular feedback

This course is just revision of the concept you know and the concept you
have not seen before. Also get ready for one more course where you have to
teach yourself about new things. Don't expect full marks in quiz or GAs. In
project remember few thing professor don't like dark colour on slides and
doesn't like any extra logo or strips in the slide. he will priase you if you have If you are looking for marks then

GA are like application of powerbi, seaborn etc,You will be able to do most of
GA without going through lecture.. but it will be hard to do in exam bcz you
will have to understand terms ( some discussed and some not discussed),
max score is around 70-80.. boring lecture, terms are not taught properly

From Sep '23 term - they seemed to have made things slightly more difficult -
confusing questions, more NAT questions, etc.
The lectures are very engaging and there are about 5 25-30 mins
lectures per week.
In the exams the questions are pretty easy. I spent just 30 mins to
complete them in the end term. The quizzes were similar.
The questions are both theoretical and numerical and all are MCQ/MSQ.
No type the correct answer questions.
Assignments are same level as the quizzes though might be a bit
calculation heavy. But in quizzes they give very simple calculation for the
same questions.
Regarding the teaching style of the professor he takes a Biological
problem each week. Elucidates it in the first lecture and the rest of the
Algorithmic week he slowly step by step comes up with an algorithm to solve the same

no Media Study Guide for PSOSM
So... Here is a step by step descriptions of the horrors of PSOSM
LECTURES:- The lectures are HIGHLY boring... You WILL fall asleep and off
your chair twice in each lecture.... Each week from 1 to 12 will have 3-4
lectures each of 1 HOUR in length Half the times the sir talks about how
great he is.... And how his students take his help to build something that
came in the newspaper with the headline "IIT students built this and that"
The other half of the time he talks the same thing.... But this time built by
people from America or Oxford and such places. You will NOT learn any
practical or useful things in this course.... Only take this course if you are
genuinely interested in what privacy is and what is written in privacy policy
that literally no one ever reads SUPPORT:- Support is excellent....they
regularly release the PA and GA solution and even the detailed quiz and end
term solution And the live sessions are conducted a lot.... And the TA are
active on google groups instead of the discourse. PA, GA:- There are PA for
bonus marks.... And both PA and GA do prepare you for end term a little
bit.... But ALL pa and ga are pen and paper.... And you know how bad the
lectures are?.... Yeah you will have to peel your eyes to even try to answer
the questions All questions are just mentioned in the lectures itself along with
the answers..... But it will only be mentioned in like 30 seconds interval.... It
will be like finding a needle in a very big needle stack instead of a haystack
Even if you do all that.... Even with me sharing my answers for PA.... You will
only get 75-80 in each GA Quizzes and end term:- They have a fixed format
First 5 "answer in one word" 2 marks out of 100 marks each..... You need
Einstein level memory to remember the random terms they ask Then few
"answer in brief" questions 4 marks out of 100 marks each = half a page long
answers..... You can score good enough here Then 4 "answer in long" 8
marks out of 100 marks each..... These questions are heavy practical based
like finding the optimal tour in TSP from AI.... You need to show 2 page worth
of work to get these 4 marks Due to this structure.... The paper is VERY
VERY lengthy.... And you will have to leave nearly 20% of the paper if you
want to focus on other subjects as well You wont score in this subject....
Even if you work hard and prepare well Also did i mention that there is some
python coding in this course which they will shamelessly ask in quiz as a
single question worth 14 marks outta 100?

Offered for the first time in May 2023 term. Lectures are good, and videos

become slightly easier with some questions directly from assignments.

Easy till week 5...Pointer and unsigned is the topic to watch out for oppe1 is
easy if you have studied arrays pointers and nested for/while loops. and
OPPE1 covers till week 7. Few new topic come after week 8 till week 11.
Oppe2 will have content asked from week 7 to 10. overall easy course.
Exams are subjective, so whatever time is allotted for MT seems less in the
exam hall.
Videos get little boring after week 8, as per my experience.
And scoring in exams is easy if you practice and understand concepts from
solved PAs and GAs. Most of the learning will happen this way only. I don't
like videos that much. So in summary,
Mathematical Watch videos quickly one time, try solving PAs and GAs before the exam
Available Thinking and understand concepts while solving questions.
Overall this course is on the level of Deep Learning, perhaps a bit easier (No
backprop calculations).
Course Instructor and Professor are the same as in DL.
As of the first run, the course was fully theoretical with some optional coding
no LLM assignments.
1. First 10 week content is exactly similar to Nptel course, just last two weeks
contetnt are newly recorded. 2.
Content are good and you need to give your weekly time to grab all things as
things are quite informative and vast in each week. 3.
It's one of the most practical course in this degree . GA's have both
programming assignments(2-10) and theory questions. Programming
assignments are practical impelemention of some of the things you learn in
that week rest you can try yourself.
4. Each week live session where you can ask your doubts. Discourse
support is minimal. 5. Lots
of DL stuff so having good knowledge is good, also course assumes we
know DL. It more oriented on after DL things practical implemention in past Always, Yes if you want to go
