MODULE-2 Materials for Memory and Display Systems

examples, types of organic memory devices by taking p- type and n-type semiconducting
material.

2.What is QLED,OLED? Mention any four properties and applications of QLED and OLED

3.Discuss the working of Liquid Crystal Display.Mention any four properties and applications of
liquid crystals.

system. And Discuss the use of Polyimide Polymeric material for Organic memory device.

MODULE3:Corrosion and Electrode System

1.Define metallic corrosion. Describe the electrochemical theory of corrosion taking iron as an
example.

anodizing of aluminium? Describe anodizing of Aluminium and mention its applications.

3.What is cathodic protection? Describe sacrificial anode technique and mention the
advantages and disadvantages.

4. Explain the construction and working of ion selective electrode and how it can be used for
the determination of pH of a solution.

5.What are concentration cell? Explain the construction and working of concentration cell. And
What are reference electrodes? Explain the construction, working and application of Calomel
electrode.

MODULE 4: Polymers and Green Fuels

1.Explain the preparation, properties, and commercial applications of graphene oxide. And

polystyrene is prepared by mixing three monodisperse samples in the following proportions. 1g
of 10000 molecular weight, 2g of 50000 molecular weight and 2g of 100000 molecular weight.

polydispersity.

products. And Explain the steps involved in extraction of gold from e-waste.
