Mr. Rolando Y. Santiago JR is my model for a good dynamic model.

He is a
good leader who influences students, workers and others in positive ways by
building trust-based relationships with them and valuing people over profits.
He’s also a good manager since he can be able to make his own decision as
a businessman and also a lecturer, for teaching profession he can fix class
schedules, recruiting and assigning teachers since he’s also our program
coordinator, and lastly he always make sure everyone of his students that
before they leave in class, they have a lot of knowledge and learning that
gained from him.

Specific Purpose or Mission: For the teaching profession, he has own


mission and purpose in classroom discussions. As an educator. I believe and
notice that he always kept clear his mission in teaching. He is making sure
that his students who take courses will become competent in the subject
area especially in communication and other major courses under their
department.

Productive Work/ Achieving Workers: In line with this, since he’s a


businessman who manage task to make sure that work ‘results in production
and the workers accomplish what they set out to do since he manages food
cart in bazaar and owns coffee shop, he’s also aware what are the things
they need to have before to start in production. In teaching professions, he’s
also made sure that all his teaching materials are reliable and updated every
semester in order for their students to learn and achieve the objectives of
the syllabus.

Social Impact and Responsibility: As an educator, he is responsible to


teach his students, to give learning, to enhance and build the skills of his
students especially the real-life situations, the critical and analytical skills,
and of course the basic communication skills. The impact on these students
will be more professional, smart and will have a brighter future.

Management Concerns

Result-producing: One of the teachers’ roles is to produce, specifically,


that the teacher’s responsibility is to teach and that the learners learn. I have
noticed that Mr. Rolando can control the teaching process and learning
process of his students by a careful screening and grouping of learners
according to their abilities and aptitudes, including tracking of previously
acquired skills before or the first start of discussion until in the end of
discussions.

Result-contributing: I believe he’s also reinforcing success in language


learning, innate language aptitude learner, improve the growth personality of
his students, proper attitude, good motivation, exposure to environment to
his students, and a well-balanced work since he has a lot of job and still
managed the school.
Housekeeping: For the language manager, Mr. Rolando always made sure
that the housekeeping chores or his responsibilities for every week can do.
He always checks that there is a supply of materials for teaching such as the
chalk or marker, erasers, teaching aids, charts, illustrations, textbooks, and
other supplementary materials. Same as the proper scheduling since in our
department he’s the one who made our schedule every semester, and filling
out of report forms in government, which is the DepEd and here in Cvsu
Imus, and lastly the monitoring of language and learning in classes.

Conscience-monitoring: In a school setting, as an Instructor, Mr. Rolando


always monitor his student’s attention to cooperate in class and to monitor
the knowledge of his students regarding their learning and realization of the
subject/topic or the objectives itself.

So that’s all and the reason why I idolized this person is because he is a good
leader and he can manage everything despite of having different work, such
as business, social media content writer and of course teaching.
