32 A two-digit number is such that the product of the digit is 14. When 45 is added to the number, the

A pole has to be erected at a point on the boundary of a circular park of diameter 13 metres in such
a way that the differences of its distances from two diametrically opposite fixed gates A and B on
the boundary is 7 metres. Is it possible to do so? If yes, at what distances from the two gates should
the pole be erected?
33 An ice cream cone full of ice cream having radius 5cm and height 10cm with hemispherical top.
Calculate the volume of the ice cream, provided that its 1/6th part is left unfilled with ice cream.

A circus tent is in the shape of a cylinder surmounted by a conical top of same diameter. If their
common diameter is 56 m, the height of cylindrical part is 6 m and the total height of the tent above
the ground is 27 m, find the area of canvas used in the tent.
34 i) Prove Basic Proportionality Theorem (Statement not required)
ii) In a triangle ABC, DE || BC. If AD = x, AE = (x + 2), BD = (x -2) and CE = (x-1), find
the value of x.

35 The mean of the following data is 57.6 and the sum of the observations is 50. Find the missing frequencies

36 Your elder brother wants to buy a car and plans to take a loan from a bank for his car. He repays his
total loan of Rs 1,18,000 by paying every month starting with the first instalment of Rs 1000. If he
increases the instalment by Rs 100 every month, answer the following:

1. Find the amount paid by him in 30 installments.
2. What amount does he still have to pay after the 30th installment?

If total installments are 40 then, find the amount paid in the last installment?
37 In an examination hall, students are seated at some distance from each other, to maintain the social
distance due to CORONA virus pandemic. Let three students sit at points A, B and C whose
coordinates are (2, -3), (4,2) and (8, 5) respectively.

Based on the above information, answer the following questions


i) What is the distance between A and C
ii) Find the mid-point of the line segment joining A and C

iii) If an invigilator at the point M, lying on the straight line joining B and C such that it
divides the distance between them in the ratio of 1 : 2.Then find the coordinates of M.

38 A group of students of class X visited India Gate on an education trip. The teacher and students had
an interest in history as well. The teacher narrated that India Gate, official name Delhi Memorial,
originally called All-India War Memorial, monumental sandstone arch in New Delhi, dedicated to
the troops of British India who died in wars fought between 1914 and 1919.The teacher also said
that India Gate, which is located at the eastern end of the Rajpath (formerly called the Kingsway),
is about 138 feet (42 metres) in height.
