e-Mobility as a Career
The EV industry is now at the start of a historic
growth curve that will create 60 million
high-paying jobs. As per data from the
International Energy Agency (IEA), the global
spend on EV purchases was an estimated

$250 billion $2.3 trillion

in 2021 by 2030

By 2030, the IEA estimates that electric cars

will account for 60% of new car sales, with
300 million already on the road. This is a
once in a lifetime opportunity for this
generation of engineers to redesign and
reinvent the future of transportation.

The Opportunity - EV Jobs

e-Mobility is a very attractive career for the rest of this decade. At this time, the balance of supply
and demand is heavily tilted in favour of job-seekers due to shortage of skilled and experienced
engineers. This urgency makes it a good time for fresh graduates to get trained and certified in
EV and land high-paying jobs.

It is also an ideal opportunity for working professionals to upskill and switch from ICE to electric
vehicles. The increment in pay ranges from 45-50% when you switch to EV, and the pay scales are
only going to keep going up as the hunt for skilled and experienced EV professionals intensifies.

The program was highly beneficial for me to understand

the basics of EV and sub-system engineering concepts. In
a short span of time, we got exposure to virtual modelling
that can act as first step to understand the broader
requirements in a cost-effective manner.

Rafael Tovo
Safety & Reliability Engineer,
Delta System Solutions GmbH
A very good course which covers all fundamental
topics in the EV engineering world and
successfully prepares engineers to deal with EV
basic modeling and simulation. The hands-on
portion of the course is also of great importance.

Amit Markan
Group Manager, Volvo

This intense theory & hands-on modeling course with a

strong teaching style has equipped me with knowledge to
lead the internal strategy & to plan adding the right EV
sub-systems to engage our OEM clients. Overall content
is well designed to develop EV skills & deployable to real
time work.

Saurabh Agarwal
