EMCEE SCRIPT

(MR. & MS. UN)

AL: Good Morning ladies and gentlemen! This morning we’ll witness the dazzling candidates as they present
their very best for the title Mr. & Ms. United Nations 2024. We’re thrilled to have you all join us today for this
wonderful celebration of culture and talent.”
JN: Today, we honor the rich diversity of our nations and showcase the incredible talents of our candidates. To
kick off our festivities, let’s begin with a grand parade! Please join us in welcoming our students, teachers and
staff and our dear judges as they make their way to the stage proudly representing their countries.”
AL: Each section/ student will showcase their stunning national attire, highlighting the beauty and uniqueness
of their cultures. Let’s give them a warm round of applause as they take the stage!

[Music plays as students parade in.]

JN: “What a spectacular display of national pride! Thank you everyone for that beautiful showcase!

AL: As this morning fills with full of excitement we will soon find who will be worthy title holders of our Little
Mr. & Ms. UN 2024 and Mr. & Ms. UN 2024. I am Teacher Alexa B. Alba

JN: And I am Teacher Janice Mae H. Oliveros: we will be hosting

AL: The grandest

AL: I know everyone is so excited today so let’s not prolong the agony of waiting, to formally start the event,
let’s take a moment to reflect and give thanks. I invite Ms. Isabella D. Pumon and Mr. Benjamin III E. Ligutan
to lead us in prayer and please remain standing for the singing of our Philippine national anthem.

AL: Now ladies and gentlemen, the long wait is over! Angelicans are you ready?

JN: Let’s have a roll call kung gising paba ang lahat?

AL: It is now my pleasure to welcome a remarkable leader in our school community, Mrs. Fe Dela Victoria our
school registrar, for the welcome address! Arround of applause please.

JN: Thank you, Mrs. Dela Victoria, for those inspiring words. Now, let’s hear from our esteemed school
president, Rev. Fr. Romeo Salazar, who will share a special message with us.

JN: “Thank you, Rev. Fr. Salazar! For that inspiring message.

AL: Ladies and Gentlemen…. This is…

Both: The Search for Mr. & Ms. United Nations 2024.

AL: They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder. What may be beautiful to me may not be beautiful for you or
the other way around. That’s why we have with us our panel of judges who have an eye for beauty.

JN: Now, let’s meet the distinguished panel of judges who will help determine our Mr. & Ms. United Nations
2024! Please welcome Teacher Jelaisa to introduce our judges!”

AL: Thank you teacher Jelaisa, so those are our glamorous panel of judges but before we formally start the
pageant, for the information of everybody, this year, we have two exciting categories. For our Nursery 1 to
Grade 2 contestants, we will crown the title of Little Mr. & Ms. UN. And for our Grade 3 to 6 participants, they
will compete for the title of Mr. and Ms. UN. Each category will also feature special awards to recognize
exceptional talents and efforts from all our contestants.

Now, let's talk about our judging criteria. The total score is split evenly, with 50% of the criteria based on
monetary considerations. Of this portion, 60% will directly benefit our candidates. This means that a
significant share of the funds raised today will go to our talented participants, rewarding their hard work and
dedication. The remaining 40% will support our school, contributing to essential projects and initiatives. This
year, the proceeds will go towards school construction, ensuring we continue to provide a safe and enriching
environment for all our students.

The remaining 50% focuses on the pageant itself, broken down as follows: 25% for costume, 15% for talent,
and 10% for production.

JN: Now, let's dive into the specifics of our judging criteria. For the costume portion, which makes up 25% of
the total score, we will be looking for adherence to the country being presented 40%, creativity 30%,
appropriateness of the outfit 20%, overall appeal 10% a total of 100%.

Next, the production number, accounting for 10% of the score, will evaluate the poise and bearing 30%, self-
introduction 30%, mastery 30%, audience impact 10% a total of 100%.
AL: As a reminder, the talent portion was held on October 21, and the results have already been tallied. Our
judges were impressed by the remarkable skills displayed by our contestants! So, without further ado, let’s get
ready to enjoy a fantastic show as our young participants take the stage!

JN: Ladies and gentlemen, our dazzling and lovely candidates together with the HFASI dance troupe

AL: Wow! That was an absolutely stunning production number! Our candidates truly showcased their talents
and creativity. A big round of applause for all of them!

JN: Indeed! It’s inspiring to see such dedication and passion. This event not only celebrates beauty and culture
but also the incredible skills of our participants.

AL: Now, to continue our celebration, we have a special message from a distinguished guest who has been a
great supporter of our school and community. Please join us in welcoming Mrs. Alpha Sumalinog to the stage!

JN: Thank you so much maam for that inspiring message.

AL: Wow, that production number by our candidates was a hard act to follow. But hold on to your seats,
everyone, because we’re about to switch gears.”

JN: That’s right! Our teachers are stepping out of the classroom and onto the stage! Who knew they had such
hidden talents? I guess all those years of handling us students gave them some serious performance skills!

AL: Absolutely! I can only imagine what they’ve cooked up for us. Will it be singing? Dancing? A dramatic
reenactment of a lesson on fractions? The suspense is killing me!

JN: Whatever it is, we’re in for a treat! So, let’s give a warm round of applause for our amazing teachers as
they take the stage for their special intermission number!

AL: Let’s give another round of applause for our teachers! Who knew they could steal the show like that? I
think we’ve all learned that they have some serious moves!

JN: Absolutely! I don’t know about you, but I’m ready to sign up for dance lessons with them. Just imagine the
next school dance—teacher choreography and all!

AL: Right? Maybe we’ll have to have a ‘Teachers Got Talent’ segment next year! But for now, let’s get back to
our main event. It’s time for the candidates to showcase their national costumes!

JN: That’s right! This is where our candidates truly get to shine, showcasing the vibrant cultures and traditions
of their countries through their stunning attire. Each costume tells a story and represents the rich heritage of its
nation.

AL: Absolutely! From colorful fabrics to intricate designs, we can’t wait to see the creativity and craftsmanship
on display. I hear some of these costumes are so fabulous they might just walk off the stage and start their own
fashion show!

JN: Let’s not give them any ideas! So, without further ado, let’s give a warm welcome to our contestants as
they present their national costumes. Prepare to be dazzled!
AL: “Wow! That was absolutely breathtaking! A big round of applause for all our contestants showcasing their
stunning national costumes! Each one truly captured the essence of their culture.

JN: Indeed! It’s amazing to see such creativity and pride on display. I think we can all agree that we’ve traveled
the world without ever leaving our seats!

AL: Now, while we let those incredible costumes soak in, it’s time for a little intermission from one of our
talented students. Get ready for another show-stopping performance that you won’t want to miss!

JN: That’s right! Let’s keep the energy going as we welcome [Student’s Name] to the stage for a special
