 Begin with a short video clip showcasing various animal
social behaviors, such as wolves hunting in packs or
dolphins communicating.
 Pose the question: "How do you think social behavior
impacts an animal's ability to survive in the wild?"
 Facilitate a brief discussion to engage students and
encourage them to think critically about the topic.

Presentation:

 Introduce the key concepts through a combination of


direct instruction and multimedia resources.
 Use visuals of different species and their social structures
to highlight diversity in animal behavior.
 Encourage students to take notes during the presentation
and ask questions.
 Anticipate the misconception that all animal behaviors are
instinctual by presenting examples of learned behaviors.
