Let them identify the following symbols from the road sign or any common signs in the area.

The electronic component by any means is hard to be drawn. That is why we need to study how to
identify an electronic symbol.

a. Passive devices - Resistors, Capacitors, IC….etc.
b. Active devices – Power supply, motors, lights….etc.
c. Miscellaneous – wires, sounds, sensors…etc.

E. Discussion
In order to make the technical drawing faster and reliable, we study electronic and electrical symbols
in order not to create confusion and we will be able to interpret technical drawings for our future
circuit design.

Let the student learn how connect wires using simple switching method.

E. Discussion
Wires need to be connected properly to avoid device malfunction and electrocution. That is why we
need to study how to connect wires according to technical drawings.

Show to the students a video clip about teamwork. It has a better effect on a work station just like
components in a circuit. It has better effect it is combined together according to its purpose.

Imagine if one of the components is missing? What would happen to a circuit?

D. Presentation – Assembly of components according schematic diagram.

E. Discussion
When assembling a component, make sure you have the right specifications and rating to avoid
accidents. It is necessary to avoid short circuit and safety measures.
