The following are some of the important questions that the consulate officer asks during
the interview for the US student visa.

WHY UNITED STATES OF AMERICA?

Q.1) Why do you wish to study in USA and not in India?

Indian education sytem is based on theoretical/bookish knowledge, where as in US


education, programs are balance theoretically as well as practically

Q.2) What if you get a US degree here, would you like to go to US again for higher
Studies?

I m sure, i can get US degree here, but i'll not get experience of studying in US, friends
for group discussions. living standards, their culture

studentsdont usually learn only in college/schools, they learn mostly from experiences,
practicals. when students live with friends from different states, countries, they gather
and share their cultures, traditions, knowledge, that environment i'll not get in india

Q.3) Why did you select US for higher studies? Isn't this course offered by any university
or college in India?

us education is renowned and has value all over the world for being practical, moral and
desirable.

Q.4) What is the purpose of your trip?

study is my only purpose

nope

manhattan institute of management is in new york, hosting international students from
last 30 years, host students from over 17 countries
they have quality of staff

they have small classes, where faculties can pay attention towards each student

and they have very reasonable fees structure

Q.8) Why have you chosen this specific university?

because my friend earlier studied here and has given positive feedback about this
college,

alsoi have researched online,

i have spoken to faculties and even Mr Marc, Marketing Director of College

i have also exchanged few emails, on my program course contents.

This institute is basically referred by my friend, who studied there earlier and has given
me very positive feed back

Q.61) If the VISA officer asks why should I grant you US VISA what should I answer?

look at my previous education, i stood always first/second in my class, i was always on


top list of my teachers favourites list. my recent education finished one month ago, i am
sincere in my studies and genuinely wants to study in US

alsoi fulfil all requirements of this category of visa

Q.62) What will you do if your US Visa is rejected?

firstlyi'll feel dis hearted, but this visa is not the end, may be i have bad day today, but i'll
try again and pursue my career.

Q.63) Have you ever visited any other country?

nope, because of studies, ididnt get time to visit other country, but i have visited almost
whole India
Q.64) Will you come back to home during summers?

yes may be but i ;ll try to do some assignments during holidays, so that i'll get benefit of
the same when school re opens

concenterate on studies
