School Quiz Contest Rules:

**Participants:**
- There are four houses, and each house has four participants.
- Each participant represents their respective house throughout the contest.

**Format:**
- The quiz consists of ten rounds, each focusing on different subjects or
themes.

**Round 1: General Knowledge**


- 8 questions are asked, each worth 5 marks.

**Round 2: Science and Technology**


- 4 questions are asked, each worth 5 marks.

**Round 3: Mathematics**
- 4 questions are asked, each worth 5 marks.

**Round 4: Current Affairs**


- 4 questions are asked, each worth 5 marks.

**Round 5: History, Geography, and Politics**


- 8 questions are asked, each worth 5 marks.

**Round 6: Sports**
- 4 questions are asked, each worth 5 marks.

**Round 7: Literature, Art, and Culture**


- 4 questions are asked, each worth 5 marks.

**Round 8: Audio-Visual Round**


- 4 questions are asked, each worth 10 marks.

**Round 9: Buzzer Round**


- 4 questions are asked, each worth 10 marks.
- Participants use buzzers to answer quickly; the first to buzz gets the
opportunity to answer.
-Every incorrect answer 5 marks will be deducted.

**Round 10: Rapid Fire Round**


- Within 1 minute time 10 questions are asked for each house, each worth 2
marks.
-If a house is not able to answer a question, they can pass it for the next
question.
**Additional Rules:**
- Participants must adhere to quiz master instructions and maintain fair play
throughout the contest.
-The house member may discuss before giving the correct answer except
rapid fire round.
-If the allotted house is unable to answer the question, then the question will
be passed onto subsequent houses respectively.
-Allotted house will be given 1 minute’s time and subsequent houses will be
given 15 sec, 15 sec and 15 sec to answer.
-If the allotted houses are unable to answer the question, the question will be
passed on the audience (Student first then teacher). Correct answer from
audience will be rewarded with sweet ‘Chocopon’
- The decision of the quiz master is final and binding.
