A Directions: Study the given information carefully to answer the questions.

A survey of a group of 1250 students is conducted to know about their likeness of sports. 68% students like
Football, 69.6% like Cricket and 64% like Badminton. 14.4% of them like only Football, 16.8% like only Cricket and
8.8% like only Badminton. Now, answer the following questions based on this information.

1. What per cent of the students like, at most, one sport from the given sports?
A. 24% B. 30% C. 40% D. 54% E. 60%

2. How many students are there who like any two sports from the given three sports?
A. 210 B. 230 C. 270 D. 320 E. 340

3. What per cent of the students like Football and Badminton both but not Cricket?
A. 4.8% B. 5.6% C. 6.4Type equation here.% D. 7.2% E. 8.4%

x + y + k + 180 = 850 or, x + y + k = 670 ...(i)
Similarly, x + z + k = 660 ...(ii)
y + z + k = 690 ...(iii)
And, x + y + z + k = (1250 – 180 + 210 + 110)
x + y + z + k = 750 ....(iv) Badminton(800)
By solving the equations (i), (ii), (iii) and (iv), we get k = 520 or, x = 60, y = 90, z = 80
B Directions: Study the given information carefully to answer the questions.
Among 500 football players, 35% played in FIFA World cup 2018 and 8% played only in FIFA World cup
2018. Again, 40% players played in Copa America 2020 and 12% players played only in Copa America 2020.
Additionally, 50% players played in Euro 2020, and 24% players played only in Euro 2020. Fifteen percent players
played in all three tournaments (FIFA World Cup 2018, Copa America 2020, and Euro 2020).

C Read the data carefully and answer the following questions.
In a university, there are a total of 150 faculty members and 900 students. Seventy percent of the faculty members are professors,
while the rest serve as administrative staff. Out of the total student population, 50 percent are female. Thirty percent of t he
female students can speak only French, and the remaining female students are bilingual, proficient in both French and Spanish .
Meanwhile, three-fifths of the male students can speak only French, and the remaining male students are bilingual in French and
Spanish. Two-thirds of the professors are male, while 60% of the administrative staff are female.

D Read the data carefully and answer the following questions.
In a school there are 360 students and all the students play either Crickey or Football or both games together. The
ratio of boys and girls in the school is 5:4. The number of students playing only football is equal to the students
playing only cricket. The number of girls playing only cricket is equal to girls playing both the games together. Number
of boys playing both the games together is 1/3rd of the boys playing only cricket. Number of boys playing only football

E Read the data carefully and answer the following questions.
A survey of certain number of students at a school was taken to find out the details about the number of boys and girls that have
watched two movies - A and B. It is known that each boy and girl had watched at least one movie.
20% of the boys have watched only movie A. Number of boys who have watched only movie B is twice the number of boys who have
watched only movie A. Rest of the boys have watched both the movies.
50% of the girls have watched both the movies. Number of girls who have watched only movie A is equal to the number of girls who
have watched only movie B. Sum of the number of boys who have watched both the movies and the number of girls who have
watched both the movies is 400. The number of girls who have watched only movie A is 40 more than the number of boys who have
watched only movie A.
The World Health Organization conducts a survey to finalize the best course of action to eliminate a contagious
disease. It is discussing two proposals.
M: A proposal to force complete quarantine on every city of the world.
N: A proposal to triple the number of hospitals in each city.
A city does not necessarily support either of the two proposals. The team of scientists which will eventually oversee the global
combat against the disease will be headed by only one of the two countries: USA and China.
Each city prefers one of the two countries. 1000 cities participate in the survey.
I .620 cities supported proposal "M" and 450 cities supported proposal "N".
2. Among the 400 cities who preferred China as the lead, 80% supported proposal "M".
3. Among those who preferred USA, 50% supported proposal "M".
4. 40% of those who supported proposal "N" preferred China as the lead.
5. Every city who preferred China and supported proposal "N" also supported proposal "M".
6. Among those who preferred USA as the team lead, 40% did not support any of the proposals.
