PROJECT CERTIFICATE

Aim: To create a project certificate in Microsoft word.

Tools:
>Formatting Fonts
>Drop cap
>Text effects
>Character spacing
>Borders and colors
>Headers and footers
>Date and Time options.

Theory:

1. Formatting Fonts: We can change the appearance of text by applying formatting attributes, which are
available on the formatting toolbar.

2. Drop cap: We can change the appearance of first Letter in text in a standard News Paper style.

3. Text Effects: Effects used to animate text are also available in Microsoft Word. These effects are very
useful in documents in the web.

4. Character Spacing: We can change the character spacing to make your document better. Wecan also
change the spacing between paragraphs index and so on.

5. Borders and Colors: We can change the paragraph borders, pageborders, paragraph shades and colors of
background and texts.

6. Headers and Footers: We can add header and footer to each page on document.

7. Date and Time: We can also add Date and Time to our Document that can be updated automatically

PROCEDURE:

STEP1: Click the new document on the file menu(Click on start-→All Programs→Microsoft Office→click
on Microsoft Word).
STEP2: Click the format menu; go to the borders and shading click on the page border tab as, per the
requirement change the setting, style, width and color, then click OK

STEP3: view>>header and footer. Then header and footer Tool bar will be appear .In the header section
type “project Certificate”, and in footer section type “AITAM WE BELIEVE THE BEST WAY” Click on
close

STEP4:Type the text “ADITYA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND MANAGEMENT”. press enter .

STEP5:Type”(AFFLIATED TO J.N.T.U)”.press enter

STEP6:Type”(RECOGNISED BY A.I.CT.E)”.press enter

STEP7: Type”(K.KOTTURU,TEKKALI)”. PRESS ENTER

STEP8: Insert>>pictures. click on front line, and then browse through the pictures .click OK.
STEP9: Type”certificate”.press enter.

STEP10: Type”certificate”.press enter

STEP11(a):Type the paragraph

STEP11 (B): Place Cursor before the first character of the Paragraph Format>>Drop cap. Click on Dropped
Position and OK. Press Enter.

STEP12: Type “Name of the Guide” Press blank space.

STEP13: Type “Head of the Department”. Press Enter.

STEP14: Type “your guide name and qualification”. Press Blank space.

STEP15: Type “your hod name and qualification” press Enter.

STEP16: Type ”Asst.Professor”. Press blank space.

STEP17: Type”Professor”. Press enter.

STEP18: Type”DEPARTMENT OF IT”. Press blank space.

STEP19: Type”DEPARTMENT OF EEE”. Press enter.

STEP20: Type “AITAM” press enter.

STEP21: Type “AITAM” press enter.

STEP22: Insert>>Date and Time. Select a Date format from available Formats. Click OK.
