COURSE OVERVIEW
The course is designed for primary students whose first language is not English.
COURSE OBJECTIVES
This course teaches students the listening and speaking skills needed for the Movers exam. Students can ask questions
about school activities such as classroom tasks, homework, holidays, can agree or disagree with someone, using phrases
such as ‘I think so’, ‘You are right’, ‘I don’t think so’, and carry on a simple conversation using fixed expressions.
TEACHING GUIDELINES
To deliver lessons with greater effectiveness, teacher is to prepare lesson plans that take advantages of
• Traditional teaching aids such as handouts and pictures or technology tools such as Power Point, TV or projector.
• Organized group activities such as team games, debates, and competitions.

- Make a clothes catalogue
Divide class into small groups (group of four/ five), Then,
tell the class that they have 10 minutes to draw different
styles to create and design clothes. (Teacher can do an
example like draw on a board a shirt, color or draw flower
on the shirt,…). After 10 minutes, each group shows their
design in front of class and describe them.
For example: This is a shirt. It’s blue. It has a yellow
flower.
- Teacher has students line up, quick check clothes
vocabulary and say goodbye to them.
