Welcome to GameCraft, where creativity meets code! This game-making competition is designed for
engineering students to showcase their innovation, technical skills, and game development prowess.
Unleash your creativity and bring your game ideas to life for a chance to win exciting prizes and
recognition.
COMPETITION OVERVIEW:
GameCraft challenges teams of engineering students to design and develop a unique and creative game..
The key is to combine technical excellence with imaginative gameplay for an unforgettable gaming
experience.
ELIGIBILITY:
All students with a valid Student iden ty card of their ins tutes are eligible to par cipate.
1. Team Composition:
Each team must consist of exactly four members.
Team members can have diverse skills, including programming, design, art, and sound.
2. Game Genre:
The game to be crafted must be a 2D platformer.
3. Platform:
The game should be developed for a specific platform (e.g., PC, mobile, web).
Specify the target platform in advance.
4. Assets:
Teams are allowed to use pre-existing assets for graphics.
5. Originality:
Teams should strive for originality and creativity in their game concept and design.
Plagiarism or using existing games will result in disqualification.
6. Submission Requirements:
Teams must submit the source code, executable files, and any additional assets used.
Provide a brief document explaining the game concept, controls, and any other relevant
information.

7. Judging Criteria:
Games will be judged based on creativity, gameplay mechanics, graphics, sound, and
overall user experience.
Judges may also consider how well teams utilized the given timeframe.
8. Presentation:
Each team will have a specific time slot to present their game to the judges.
Presentations should include a demonstration of gameplay, key features, and the thought
process behind design decisions.
9. Prizes:
1st – Rs 1000
2nd – Rs 500
10. Fair Play:
Teams are expected to uphold fair play and ethical standards.
Any form of cheating, sabotage, or unethical behavior will lead to disqualification.
11. Support and Resources:
Teams are encouraged to seek guidance and support from mentors or experts if needed.
Use of third-party libraries or frameworks is allowed, but proper attribution is required.
12. Feedback Session:
After the event, organize a feedback session where teams can receive constructive
feedback from judges.
13. Code of Conduct:
Establish a code of conduct to ensure a positive and inclusive environment for all
participants
