The employee’s work has consistently demonstrated errors and lacks the attention to detail required for
accuracy. For instance, recent reports contained multiple factual inaccuracies and formatting issues which
impacted overall quality and client satisfaction.

II. Timeliness of Task Completion

The employee has regularly missed deadlines for key projects

III. Communication Skills

There have been frequent issues with communication, including delays in responding to emails and unclear
instructions provided to team members. This has led to misunderstandings and inefficiencies within the
team.

3. Performance Goals

I. Improve Quality of Work

All work should be submitted without errors and meet the department’s quality standards. The employee will

management tool to track deadlines and progress.

III. Improve Communication Skills

Measurement Criteria: The employee will respond to internal emails and communications within 24 hours.
The employee will also provide clear and concise instructions in written communications. Success will be
measured by feedback from team members and supervisors, aiming for a satisfaction rating of 80% or higher
in communication effectiveness.

4. Action Plan

To achieve the performance goals, the following action steps are required:

I. Step 1: Quality of Work Training

The employee will work with a mentor to review work for the first month and receive feedback.

II. Step 2: Time Management Coaching

The employee will participate in time management sessions. These sessions will focus on prioritizing tasks,
setting realistic deadlines, and using project management tools effectively.

III. Step 3: Communication Skills Enhancement

The employee will attend a communication skills seminar and complete an online course on effective
communication. Additionally, the employee will implement weekly check-ins with the supervisor to discuss
progress and address any communication issues.

6. Consequences of Non-Improvement

be taken:

I. Further Disciplinary Action: This may include a formal warning, reduction in job responsibilities, or
reassignment to a different role if available.
