Today, on Guru Purnima, the Guru tatva, representing the essence of

spiritual wisdom, shines brightest. It is a auspicious day for seekers to


deepen their spiritual sadhana.
The alignment of the Moon and the planets on Guru Purnima creates a
receptive atmosphere for connecting with the guru dimension.
Shiva assumed the role of Guru and imparted wisdom to seven devoted
sages known as Saptarishis.
Our bodies and minds are intimately linked with the Moon. With our bodies
composed of 75% water, the Moon's influence purifies, charges, and
refreshes our being. So, let go of all the negativities of within, start a fresh
with new intentions and express gratitude to our Gurus, connect with the
Divine, and remain open to receiving this divine grace.

Please take a moment to make yourself as comfortable as possible. Sit


down in a relaxed position.
Close your eyes and allow yourself to settle into a state of calm and
relaxation.

Before we begin, bring into your mind’s eye your intention/sankalpa, your “I
am” statement. Repeat it quietly and internally to yourself three times.
[PAUSE]

Guru Brahma dono khade kake lagu paaye


balihaari Guru aapne jin gobind diyo milaaye

Take a few deep breaths, inhaling through your nose and exhaling through
your mouth, letting go of any tension with each exhale. (three times)

Bring your awareness to the spaces between your body and the earth
beneath you. As you begin to surrender into relaxation, notice the spaces
between your body and the earth beneath you becoming smaller and
smaller.
Your body relaxed, on the floor in your current posture.

Now, all you have to do is allow your awareness to follow my voice as I


guide you from point to point to the journey of within.

Let go of all the tension from your body, and mind[PAUSE]

Now bring your awareness to your breath. Follow the gentle tide of your
breath without altering it.
Now, envision your breath as a Silver bright light flowing up and down your
spinal column. With your inhale, the bright light flows from the tailbone to
the crown of the head. And with your exhale, it flows from the crown of the
head back down to the tailbone.

A cosmic tide of prana. Stay with your breath as it flows up and down your
spinal column, Silver, illuminating, bright light. [PAUSE]

Now Bring the form of your Guru in front of your eyes…..

Visualize a beautiful night sky, with the full moon shining brightly above
you. Feel its gentle light bathing you in a peaceful glow.
As you gaze at the moon in your mind's eye, envision the form of your guru
sitting on a rock, bathed in the moonlight. Sense their serene presence and
the divine energy they radiate.

Imagine yourself sitting in front of your guru, at their lotus feet. Feel the
warmth and compassion emanating from them, enveloping you in a sense
of peace and tranquility.
Visualize your guru showering their blessings from their right hand towards
you in the form of bright moonlight. Feel this divine energy flowing towards
you, filling you with a deep sense of grace and spiritual connection.

Allow yourself to absorb the blessings and guidance being offered. Focus
on your breath, inhaling the pure energy of your guru’s blessings, and
exhaling any tension or negativity.
Continue to breathe deeply and rhythmically, letting the moonlit blessings
from your guru cleanse your mind and heart, bringing clarity and serenity.
You drop into deep meditation
At the centre of their hand which is showering the bright illuminated light
you see the purest pearl …
On the surface of the pearl, see your intention inscribed.
Gaze into that bright light once more focusing on the pearl. Feel a deep
connection with its purity and the power of your sankalpa.
As you continue to gaze, observe the pearl gently lifting out of their hand.
Witness it descending and settling into the center of your chest, within your
heart space.
Feel the warmth and presence of the pearl within your heart. Sense its
energy merging with your own, aligning with your deepest desires and
intentions.
Repeat your intention 3 times, quietly, internally and with meaning.

Allow the energy of your sankalpa to resonate within you, anchoring it


deeply into your consciousness and being. [PAUSE FOR FIVE MINUTES]

Guru biraaaje mann mein


Take a moment to silently express gratitude to your guru for their guidance
and presence in your life. Feel their wisdom and blessings supporting you
on your spiritual path/ journey.
Now
Take few deep breaths and simply be with the experience.

Feel gratitude for the clarity and connection you’ve received.

When you’re ready, gently bring your awareness back to the present
moment.

Wiggle your fingers and toes, gradually opening your eyes.
