1. Human services- It contains jobs that deal with families and human needs. Human services
workers help people manage the many mental, emotional, and practical demands of
everyday life, such as finding a home, securing child care, deciding on a career, or arranging
funeral services for loved ones. (Social, Conventional and Artistic) [Social workers,
counseling, nursing, childcare, hair stylist, deaf interpreter]
2. Business, Management and administration-It includes jobs that direct business operations,
functions, and finance. It also involves evaluating, managing, and directing operations in
order to achieve greater efficiency and yield productive operations. (Social, Conventional
and Artistic) [HR, Management, Administrator, Sales, Marketing, cost estimator, ]
3. Hospitality and tourism- It is focused on management, marketing and operations of
restaurants and other food services, lodging, attractions, recreation events and travel
related services. (Social and Convectional) [Tour guides, agents, hotel management,
recreational leader, camp counselor]
4. Transportation, distribution and logistics- It uses the knowledge of mechanics, mathematics
and design to work in careers you plan, manage and move everything from people to
company products through a range of transportation services. It also includes lot of behind
the scene workers to make sure the products and people get to the right place on time.

5. Finance- It uses skills in math and statistics to prepare for well-paying careers in financial and

Other clusters:-
a) Architecture and construction- Building and maintaining structure such as building,
home, bridge and machinery. It also includes developing new structures, restoration,
additions, alterations and repairs.
b) Arts, A/v technology and communication- People use creativity and their talent on
the job. It includes performer, artist, painter, dancers, sculptors, actors and singer.
Behind the scene includes set designers, editors, broadcast technicians, and camera
operators.
c) Government and public administration- It involves planning, managing, and
providing government legislative and administrative and regulatory services and
related general purpose government services at the federal, state, and local levels.
d) Science, technology engineering and mathematics- It is focused on planning,
managing and providing scientific research and professional and technical services
including laboratory and testing services, and research and development services.
e) Law, public safety, correction and security- It includes planning, managing, and
providing legal, public safety, protective services and homeland security, including
professional and technical support services.
f) Manufacturing- It is an interconnected system of like-minded businesses in a
geographically centralized location. They share industry characteristics and benefit
from collective growth. It mainly includes manufacturing of materials which also
needs technical support team.
g) Education and training- It includes careers in planning, managing and providing
education and training services as well as related learning support services. It is
basically a way of sharing knowledge to a group of people and preparing them for
their life ahead.
h) Information Technology- It is the use of computers to create, process, store,
retrieve, and exchange all kinds of electronic data and information. It also includes
long hours of contact with electronic devices.
i) Marketing, sale and service- It encompasses advertising and marketing, buying and

j) Health science- It is focused on planning, managing, and providing therapeutic

of food, cultivating and preserving our natural resources, caring for animal.
