The COVID-19 pandemic has been exerting negative influences

on people of all age groups. Due to suddenness, novelty and
fatality, it gave birth to a variety of psychological distress and
negative health outcomes. It resulted in unemployment on a
mass scale. People faced unavailability of essentials and felt lack of all
tj^es human interactions. Experts opined that precaution is the ordy
alternative through which people can save the life of others and their
own. After one year of the outbreak of the pandemic, researchers
discovered vaccine. Indian Government is working on the plan of
vaccinating all of its citizens. Although majority of Indians took
vaccination, but a few of them did not adhere to the call.
Misconception, lack of awareness and lack of knowledge of the
consequences and importance of vaccination for the health of others
may be the reason behind their hesitation. This challenge even persists
today.
