Position Details:
Location: Orangeburg, SC
Salary: $75-$80K+ depending on qualifications, with bonus potential
Schedule: multiple shifts available, most will start on first shift before moving to off shift if hired for off shift

Position Description: Maintenance Supervisor


Monitor employee performance and productivity, conduct performance reviews, recommend rewards and promotions, and
issue disciplinary actions as necessary. Complete administrative responsibilities such as monitoring and controlling
inventories and costs, creating, completing, and auditing paperwork, and responding to communications. Become the subject
matter expert for all systems and area requirements, such as SOPs, checklists, equipment, and processes. Enforce compliance
with all assigned area safety, housekeeping, waste handling, environmental, and material handling requirements as well as
SOPs and checklists. Timely administration of company policies. Identify and provide recommendations for opportunities to
improve safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency. Participate in the interview and vetting process for hiring prospective
employees. Create, administer, and track training requirements for all reporting team members. Must be able to work any

shift and weekends as needed, be on-call

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Industry


Education:
 An associate degree in a technical field is highly preferred. (Mechanical or Chemical Engineering Degree is preferred),
or equivalent experience.
 Military experience will be considered and is strongly desired.

Experience:
 5 years minimum of supervisory experience
 Associate Degree in a related field of study - highly preferred
 Must have strong leadership skills
 Mechanical, Civil, and/or Facilities experience required
 Basic understanding of electrical theory
 Computer experience required (Google Docs and Spreadsheets, preferred)
 Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
 Exemplary attention to detail and organizational skills
 Understanding of Welding Fundamentals - Mig, ARC, and Tig Experience with SAP a plus

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:


 Coordinates maintenance activities with other departments as necessary
 Formulate and communicate specific, time-bound, measurable, and cost-conscious plans to accomplish work
 Plan, conduct, and document department safety and communication meetings

 Responsible for thorough and timely completion, auditing, and record keeping of PMs
 Prioritize, estimate, and schedule labor as necessary to complete required maintenance activities – planning
 Validate receipt of components and supplies for work to be completed
 Specify, research, and request parts required for scheduled maintenance tasks

WORKING CONDITIONS:
 Working in tight space/quarters
 Perform work exposed to weather conditions: heat, cold wind, rain, high humidity
 Temperature: non-climate controlled facility
 Noise: hearing protection required
 Chemicals: protective clothing required
 Fumes/odors: respiratory protection required in specified areas

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
 Stand for long periods on hard surfaces: including concrete, tile, metal grating
 Climb stairs, ladders and working at heights
 Perform work involving twisting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling and bending
 Breathe without difficulty/use respirator
