Overview of Current Technologies to be Used in the System

What to include?
 Discussion of Current Trends and Technologies
Explain the latest technologies that will be used to develop and implement the proposed system.
This might include programming languages, frameworks, databases, cloud services, and any other
relevant tools or technologies.
 Relevance to the Project
Describe why these technologies are suitable for your project and how they will help in achieving
the project goals.
Ex. If your project involves a web-based cemetery management system, you might discuss using:
 Programming Languages - JavaScript for the front end and Python for the back end.
 Frameworks - React.js for building the user interface and Django for the server-side application.
 Database - MySQL for storing cemetery records.
 Cloud Services - AWS for hosting the application and storing data securely.
 Other Tools - Git for version control and collaboration.
B. Calendar of Activities
What to include?
 Detailed Sequence of Activities - List all the activities that you will undertake to complete the
project, in the order they will happen.
 Gantt Chart of Activities - Create a Gantt chart that shows when each activity is expected to
start and end. The time units should be in terms of the week number from the start of the
semester, not actual dates.
Example Activities
1. Week 1-2: Requirements gathering and analysis
2. Week 3-4: System design and architecture planning
3. Week 5-7: Development of the front-end interface
4. Week 8-10: Development of the back-end system
5. Week 11-12: Integration and testing
6. Week 13: User acceptance testing
7. Week 14: Final adjustments and deployment
8. Week 15: Project documentation and presentation
C. Resources
Hardware
What to include?
 List of Specific Hardware Resources - Detail the hardware you will need, such as computers,
servers, network devices, and any special equipment.
Example:
 Development Computers - Laptops or desktops with at least 8GB RAM, i5 processor.
 Server - A cloud-based server on AWS with sufficient storage and processing power.
 Network Devices - Routers, switches, or any necessary networking hardware.
Software
What to include?
 List of Specific Software Resources - List all the software you will need, including development
tools, databases, operating systems, and any other software.
Example:
 Development Tools - Visual Studio Code, PyCharm.
 Frameworks and Libraries - React.js, Django.
 Database - MySQL.
 Operating Systems - Windows 10 for development machines, Linux for the server.
 Version Control - GitHub or GitLab for source code management.
 Other Software - Docker for containerization, Postman for API testing.
