Instructions for Examplify
Before the Exam
1. Login to Examsoft as Exam Takers using NUS user id and password

2. Download Examplify on the Exam device (Only Windows Laptop/MacBook is allowed). Please refer to the instructions here:

3. Launch Examplify

4. Choose “National University of Singapore-APAC (NUS) as Institution

5. Login using NUS user id and password and authenticate the login

6. Download and take Practice exam – Non-Secure Block Internet

Day before the Exam


1. Download approved learning resources to the Exam device to make them available offline. Also, have a back copy of the
resources in a flash drive and/or hard copy notes.

2. Launch Examplify and download the assessment posted by course lecturer. (Assessment will be available for download 6 hr
before the scheduled time).

3. Fully charge your laptop.

Instructions: On the Day of the Exam
1. Arrive at the exam venue 30 minutes before the assessment. Be seated at the venue.
2. Launch Examplify on your exam device. Login using NUS user id and password. Authenticate the login (if prompted).
3. Access the downloaded assessment using the Exam password shared by the invigilator.

4. Read and understand the Exam notice  You will be instructed to start the exam  Click “I am authorized to start my exam”

5. You will see the exam instruction page with a Fill-in-the-blank question. This is a confirmation that Internet is locked on your device.
6. Keep this window active, while Invigilators check your Examplify screen for the “Active Exam Instruction page”. After checking all the
exam takers device, Invigilator will allow you to start the pen and paper-based exam.

7. Ensure that Examplify screen with FITB question is active (kept open) during the entire duration of the exam.

7. You will be able to refer to the downloaded learning resources on the exam device while taking the pen and paper-based exam.

8. Upon completion of the exam submit your answer scripts to the invigilator. Do not exit Examplify.

9. An Exit Password will be shared by invigilator. Key in the exit password as answer for the FITB question and submit the
assessment on Examplify.

10. Examplify will upload your submission. You should see “Upload complete” for successful submission.

11. Invigilator will check for successful submission of exit password by all exam takers and then dismiss the class.
