The Magic of the Seasons
Every year, the Earth goes through four seasons: spring, summer, fall, and winter. Each
season is special in its own way. In the spring, flowers bloom and animals wake up from
a long winter sleep. The weather is warm but not too hot, and it rains a lot. This helps
plants grow big and strong.
Summer is the hottest season. People go on vacation, play outside, and enjoy the sun.
In many places, it's time to swim in the pool or at the beach. Summer is also when kids
have their school break, and families often go on trips to the mountains or the ocean.
In fall, the weather cools down. The leaves on trees change color and fall to the
ground. People often pick apples, carve pumpkins, and prepare for the colder months.
Fall is also the time for harvest, when farmers gather the crops they've grown.
Winter is the coldest season. The days are shorter, and it often snows. People wear
warm coats, scarves, and gloves. In winter, many families celebrate holidays like
Christmas and New Year’s, and sometimes, kids even have snow days where they can
stay home from school and play in the snow.
