my philosophy in life
Written by: Alfred A. Mariano
Being able to exist in this world of unknowingness
makes each and every individual think of whether what their purposes could be. Any person could easily say that they want this and that or hate things such as this and that.
To be able to breathe the reminiscing feeling of
air and to exhale the uneasiness feeling of our life is very peculiar. We often wonder what even is our exact purpose of existing whilst we gaze upon the boundless image of the universe in our mind. Then, we ask questions such as "does everything even matter?" or "does each and every individual meant to be what they are today?". I personally experience this most of the time but then that's when I realize how can I be able to know such answers to the most mysterious questions if I haven't even come to live my life fully? After that I came up and believed with multiple philosophies or viewpoints in life and these are "Anything is impossible until it is done.", "The first step in having everything is through having utmost discipline." and "Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge, but whoever hates correction is stupid."
The concept of knowledge and curiosity has been
around for so long as we can imagine. These are what pushes us humans to achieve great things. In order to attain a vast amount of knowledge and achieve great things one must give it his/her all, as it requires a great deal of effort and sacrifices. Most of the time we get scared when we think about accomplishing something that is out of our reach, we assume that those things are far too achievable for someone who was born without any talent or special feat that can help us ascend. However, time by time, failure after failure I came up to understand that it is not the gap between us and the things we want to achieve that hinders us from attaining it but our mind who constantly tells us to just stop doing it because it's not worth our efforts. That is why whenever I accomplish certain things I look back and think that those things were not made possible if I hadn't taken action. In this world full of uncertainty and unpredictability of a person's potential it is not exactly our families and friends who are with us in our highs and lows. Respectfully saying, it's not even the omniscient gods above that takes us to our current position in life. This is due to the fact that wherever we are and whenever it is we are on our mind a hundred percent of the time. This only means that whatever we do and how great or harsh the consequences are, the only person accountable for our action is ourselves. That is why in every beginning of our journey to becoming triumphant we must master the art of discipline. After we become proficient in self- discipline and we know how to conquer ourselves, everything we work hard on will become easy and everything we want will come so smoothly that we won't even notice it.
From the holy book of the bible "Whoever loves
discipline loves knowledge, but whoever hates correction is stupid." Proverbs 12:1. This bible verse teaches us to become a student of life. It tells us to love instruction and not to hate correction when we are the ones doing wrong things. In life, all of our actions have consequences whether it is good or bad. Therefore this bible verse teaches us to become open to the critism of our actions. It helps us grow and prosper. It advises us to become patient and learn while not being easily irritated when some of our doings are wrong. Mistakes are made to become lessons and not to make a person anxious. Failure is only a failure when we do not learn anything from it.
My philosophies aims to emphysize what it means
to believe in oneself and what lies within the concept of decipline where it can show how much it affects our actions and affect it's results. To sum up none of the things we wanted were always seemed posible, for we only realize we have it when we were only able to acquire it in the first place. We can simply say that dicipline is a cheat code when we are trying to achieve something deliberately as when we master it, things will become more easier. Dicipline is even more embraced when the lord himself consider dicipline as a great factor in congquering even the most broad and coprehensive knowledge. As a final point, a man's life can only be fullfiled when it has full control of it's self in which then can only achieved through putting self trust first and utilizing utmost dicipline.
