Task: Conduct a Personal SWOT Analysis

Objective:

To identify your strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats as a student to better


understand yourself and create a plan for academic and personal growth.

Instructions:

1. Preparation:
o Reflect on your academic performance, study habits, time management,
relationships, and extracurricular involvement.
o Be honest and specific in your responses.
2. SWOT Categories:
Divide your analysis into four sections:

a. Strengths:

o List your skills, qualities, and resources that help you succeed as a student.
o Example questions to guide you:
 What subjects or tasks am I naturally good at?
 What study methods work best for me?
 What personal qualities (e.g., discipline, creativity) set me apart?

b. Weaknesses:

o Identify areas where you struggle or need improvement.


o Example questions to guide you:
 Which subjects or tasks do I find challenging?
 What habits prevent me from performing at my best?
 Do I have any gaps in my skills or knowledge?

c. Opportunities:

o Look for external factors that you can leverage to improve or grow.
o Example questions to guide you:
 Are there workshops, tutors, or clubs that could help me?
 Do I have supportive peers, mentors, or teachers?
 Are there scholarships, competitions, or events I could take part in?

d. Threats:

o Recognize obstacles or challenges that might hinder your success.


o Example questions to guide you:
What external factors (e.g., time, finances) make studying difficult?
Are there distractions or conflicts in my environment?
Am I at risk of burnout or falling behind?
3. Write Your Analysis:
o Use a table format to organize and indicate your thoughts clearly:

o Write a short paragraph summarizing your findings.
o Create at least two actionable goals based on your analysis.
