Introduction
Smart Parking system is a intelligent parking management system that uses technology
and data to enhance parking efficiency.
It uses sensors, real data analytics, and mobile apps to guide drivers to available parking
spots, reducing congestion, pollution, and driver frustration.
Users can reserve spots, receive notifications on space availability, and even make
payments through their convenience while reducing traffic congestion.
These systems are designed to solve the problems associated with urban parking
including limited space and the time-consuming process of finding a parking spot.
Problem Definition
The current parking system in urban areas is inefficient, causing frustration for
drivers, congestion, and environmental pollution. The existing system lacks real-time
information, leading to:

Methodology
Decomposition:
Decomposition: Break down the parking problem into smaller,
manageable parts, such as identifying the parking area, assessing
available spaces, determining peak times for parking demand, and
understanding user needs (e.g., duration of stay).
Pattern Recognition
Look for patterns in parking data, such as common times when parking
spots are full, the frequency of parking violations, and user behaviors. This
could help predict future parking needs.

Abstraction:
Create models to represent the parking system. Simplify the problem by
focusing on critical aspects, like location constraints and vehicle types,
while ignoring less relevant details (e.g., weather conditions).
Algorithm:
Develop a systematic process or algorithm to allocate parking spots
efficiently. This could include a mobile app that directs users to available
parking spaces based on real-time data or a reservation system that
maximizes space usage during peak times.
Conclusion
A smart parking solution enhances urban mobility, reduces traffic, and improves
the parking experience. Utilizing technologies like cloud computing, IoT, and real-
time data analytics, it maximizes space usage and minimizes search times and
environmental impact. Its modular design accommodates various parking
scenarios.

Future research can focus on security, renewable energy integration, and AI for
predictive analytics. Overall, this solution offers an innovative and sustainable
approach to urban challenges, supporting the development of smarter cities.
