Practical (nray;Kiw)
1. Adi Tala Varnam - Mjp jhs tu;zk; - 03
2. Navaragamalikai Varnam - etuhfkhypif tu;zk; - 01
The above four Varnams should be learnt in TWO speeds with Talam.

For Keerthanams canditates must avoid Bhajan,devotional songs ( E.g: Manikkaveenai enthum, Aum sakthi aum.. etc.)

5. Sight Singing - (Candidates, both Vocal and Instruments must sing the given Swara Korvai)
Candidates will be examined only in Mohanam, Kalyani, Sankarabharnam, Bilahari, Kambhoji,
Hamsadhwani, Mayamalavagowla and Suddha Saveri.
