It Pays to Obey

Nilo and Anton went to the park to play at around 1 o’clock in the
afternoon. The weather that day was quite cloudy.
Their mother told them to come back home after two hours.
They were having so much fun playing at the park and they did not
notice that it was already past five.
Suddenly, a very loud thunder was heard from the sky accompanied
by lightning. The rain started to pour and Nilo and Anton have
nowhere to go. From a distance, they saw their mother approaching
with a very serious look.

1. What do you think will be the reaction of Nilo and Anton’s mother
seeing them soaking wet in the rain?
The mother will be very happy to see them.
The mother will scold them for being disobedient.
2. What could possibly happen to Nilo and Anton after being exposed
in the rain?
Anton and Nilo might get sick.
Nilo and Anton will wash their clothes dry.
3. What should Nilo and Anton need to do or say to their mother after
what happened?
They must ignore their mother and do nothing.
They must apologize to their mother for not obeying her.
4. If Nilo and Anton went back home after two hours as their mother
said, what do you think could possibly happen?
Their mother will still get mad at them.
They will not get trapped in the rain.
