Accura 2550CMS-3P4W modules are installed on branch lines in a three-phase 4-wire configuration in
industrial control panels and sense three-phase currents. Accura 2550CMS-1P3F/1P2F split-core power
measuring modules are installed on consecutive branch lines in a single-phase configuration and sense
single-phase currents in three or two feeders in industrial control panels. The modules measure various
power characteristics based on the sensed current information and incoming voltage information received
from the Accura 2500M Main module.
Accura 2550ZM-3P4W/1P3F/1P2F leakage measuring modules are equipped with Zero-phase Current
Transformers(ZCTs) for individual feeders to measure leakage currents from three-phase or three or two
single-phase loads. They also have digital input terminals to monitor the operation and trip status of the
MCCBs(Molded Case Circuit Breakers) for each feeder. The Accura 2550ZM-3P4W leakage current measuring
module is connected to the Accura 2550CMS-3P4W split-core power measuring module, and the Accura
2550ZM-1P3F leakage current measuring module is connected to the Accura 2550CMS-1P3F split-core power
measuring module using communication cables. Also, the Accura 2550ZM-1P2F leakage current measuring
module is connected to the Accura 2550CMS-1P2F split-core power measuring module.
The Accura 2550CMM-3P module is installed at either the main or branch lines of the industrial control
panel to sense the current. Based on the incoming voltage information received from the Accura 2500M,
it measures various power characteristics of the corresponding load. The Accura 2550CMM-3P module
supports measurements of multiple single-phase feeders. When connecting the module to the load, the hot
line should pass through the main hole(Ø 10.4) of the module, and the Neutral line should pass through
its sub-hole(Ø 5.9). Accura 2550CMMZ-3P module is equipped with a built-in ZCT (Zero-sequence Current
Transformer), allowing it to directly measure the leakage current of three-phase 3-wire or three-phase 4-
wire loads. Additionally, the Accura 2550CMMZ-3P with a built-in ZCT does not support multi-feeder
measurement functionality.

1. The max. tightening torque of the terminal screws of the barrier-type terminal block is 1.8 Nm(18.4 kgf-cm, 16 lbf-in).
2. It indicates the input voltage range of the device. Thus, when a PT is used externally, primary voltage is calculated by
multiplying it by the PT ratio.
Note
If the voltage input gets out of the measurement range, it can affect accuracy. External PTs(Potential
Transformer) should be used when measuring voltages greater than voltage input specifications.
Caution
When installing fuses on the power line, it is recommended to use fuses that are UL-listed with an RK5
class or higher and are rated at 2 A/500 V. In case of using external PTs, a fuse should be installed at the
PT secondary.
Wiring Considerations
Caution
Failure to observe the following instructions may result in severe injury or death.
◼ During normal operation of Accura 2500, hazardous voltages are present on its terminal strips that
connect the PT(Potential Transformer), voltage input, power, and external I/O circuits. The secondary of
the PT may generate fatal voltages/currents resulting from the primary of the PT.
◼ Standard safety precautions should be followed while installing or maintaining the product, including
removing PT fuses.
◼ Install the product in a panelboard to prevent users from accessing terminal strips after completing
wiring of the product.
Caution
Observe the following instructions, or permanent damage may occur to the product.
◼ Do not apply voltages and currents that exceed the input ratings of the PT to the product.

Ethernet Communication
Accura 2500M supports communication with the host system using Ethernet cables for high-speed
transmission of large-capacity measurement data received from multiple Accura 2550 modules. The built-in
Ethernet switch of Accura 2500M enables Ethernet connectivity between Accura 2500M modules using two
Ethernet ports, without the need for a separate external switch. Up to 20 Accura 2500M modules can be
connected in star, daisy chain, and ring topologies. It supports Modbus TCP, the standard protocol for
transmission of measurement data.
Since Accura 2500M supports RSTP(Rapid Spanning Tree Protocol), devices can be connected in a ring
topology. Thus, even if one end of the line is disconnected in a ring topology, communication can be
resumed in the other end of the line within a short period of time, minimizing data loss.
Note
When wiring devices in a ring topology, use the Ethernet switch supporting the RSTP(Rapid Spanning Tree
Protocol) for quick recovery from communication failures, and the switch should be used as the main route
for communication.
Note
Accura 2500 provides a lower bridge priority value of 49152(C000h) instead of a default bridge priority
value of 32768(8000h). If the bridge priority value of a switch is configured as 32768(8000h), the switch
has a higher priority over Accura 2500.
Caution
At sites where industrial control panels are installed, a large number of electromagnetic waves are emitted
due to multiple power cables. This can have a serious impact on Ethernet communication quality.
Therefore, you should use shielded cables.

Events
All events that occur in Accura 2500M/2550 modules are managed by Accura 2500M module. Each event is
recorded in event logs. Events are divided into power quality, measurement, and system events.
For power quality and measurement events, the last 100 events are stored respectively. For system events,
the last 1,000 events are stored, and the event index for each event is indicated with numbers from 0 to
9,999, allowing users to check recent events with ease.
When an event occurs, the EVENT LED at the bottom left corner of Accura 2500D flashes, and the color of
the bell icon on the upper right side of the screen changes to give notifications. The number of new events
that occur also appears with the bell icon.
Once you press the EVENT button at the bottom right corner of the device or the bell icon on the screen,
you can enter the event mode, and the EVENT LED is reset. In the event mode, you can check detailed event

2. When connected to a grounded 3P3W system, the device does not detect phase open and fuse fail events.
3. The event can be configured only via communication.
The following table shows items for measurement events provided via communication and Accura 2500D.
Measurement Events
There are voltage connection, current, leakage current, and user-defined events in measurement events.
Voltage connection events include phase open and fuse fail events. When connected with a grounded 3P3W
system, the device does not detect phase open and fuse fail events.
Current events refer to the events on the current values measured by Accura 2550 modules, and leakage
current events refer to the events on the leakage current values measured by Accura 2550CMZ modules.
Users can set up the event detection function, threshold, and hysteresis values for the events on each module
from Accura 2500D’s screen. For user-defined events, users can configure input data and event operation
methods via communication. Up to 40 user-defined events are supported with channels ranging from 1 to
40. User-defined event data for each channel is as shown below. For details about user-defined events, refer
to 「Chapter 6 Functions> Events > Measurement Events > User-Defined Events」.
System Events
System events include events on module management, communication status, and setup changes and are
recorded in event logs. When an event requiring inspection occurs, the device provides users with
notifications through the EVENT LED.
Accura 2500M automatically detects the connection status of all Accura 2550 modules connected with the
internal communication cable. It can also assign a communication ID to each module. The IDs of Accura
2550 modules connected to Accura 2500M should be set to enable communication with numbers ranging
from 0 to 39, and they should not be duplicated.
Accura 2500M sends the sampled voltage data to all Accura 2550 modules connected, enabling users to
measure power at individual branch lines. With internal communication cables, Accura 2500M receives
measurement data from multiple Accura 2550 modules.
Accura 2500D shows data on Accura 2500M, as well as measurement and operational status data of multiple
2550 modules collected by Accura 2500M. It enables users to check the entire operational status of the
devices in front of the industrial control panel via Accura 2500D’s TFT Color LCD screen. Users can set all
functions of Accura 2500M and Accura 2550 on the TFT Color LCD screen with the touch functionality.

Voltage/Current Sampling
Accura 2500M module measures both AC and DC voltage. However, Accura 2550 modules are divided into
the module that measures AC current and the module that measures DC current. Therefore, you should use
the Accura 2550 module that suits your needs according to the AC/DC voltage specifications of the industrial
control panel.
Voltage Sensing
In Accura 2500M module, voltages drop due to the industrial control of resistance and are converted to the
ADC values through the AAF(Anti-Aliasing Filter). Obtained voltage data are converted into voltage
harmonics up to 50th order with the FFT(Fast Fourier Transform) algorithm. The processed voltage data are
sent to all the three-phase/single-phase power measuring modules connected with internal communication
cables.
Current Sensing
In Accura 2550 module, current values are converted through a Hall-Effect sensor or CT(Current Transformer)
and converted to ADC values through the AAF(Anti-Aliasing Filter). Obtained current data are converted into
current harmonics up to the 50th order with the FFT algorithm. Data on power and energy are obtained
based on the processed current data and the voltage data received from Accura 2500M module.
Measuring Time
Gapless sampling and calculation of measured signals are performed per cycle. Frame data are generated
by collecting data obtained over a period of 12 or 10 cycles. These data are aggregated, creating the data
for a period of longer than 0.2 seconds. For details about aggregation, refer to 「Chapter 6 Functions>
Aggregation」.
The frequency of the power source is automatically detected. For frequencies higher than 55 Hz,
measurements are performed at 60 Hz, and for those lower than 55 Hz, measurements are performed at 50
Hz. A frame refers to 0.2 seconds. It consists of 12 cycles at 60 Hz and 10 cycles at 50 Hz.
Gapless processing of voltage and current signals is performed per cycle. Voltage sampling includes 512
samples per cycle while current sampling includes 256 samples per cycle. For each cycle, an FFT is performed
for voltage and current signals, and DC, RMS, fundamental, power and energy values are calculated based
on the values obtained during subsequent cycles.

Measurements
Measurement Parameters
The following table shows measurement parameters. Some of measurement data are provided only via
communication. Measured values displayed on Accura 2500D module are values obtained for 1-second
aggregation intervals generated by aggregating data from 5 frames. Measured values provided via
communication are values obtained for the aggregation intervals of 0.2, 1, and 5 seconds, 1 and 5 minutes,
1 and 6 hours. Users can choose the aggregation interval via communication. The default aggregation
interval is set to 1 second.
The maximum and minimum values provided on the Accura 2500D screen after resetting the max/min values
are stored in non-volatile memory. Thus, the data are maintained even when Accura 2500M is turned off.

There is no actual neutral point in three-phase, three-wire voltage connection mode. Thus only line-to-line
voltage and the total power can be measured, but the actual voltage and power for each phase cannot be
measured. However, by using a virtual neutral point where the residual voltage value of three phase voltages
becomes zero, voltage and power values for each phase can be calculated.

Leakage Current
Accura 2550CMZ power/leakage current measuring modules and Accura 2550ZM leakage current measuring
module have built-in ZCTs. The leakage current sensed by the ZCT is calculated with the following formula

The average active power per phase is calculated by multiplying voltage by current.
50
There are two methods for calculating the reactive(Q) and apparent power(S) per phase.
1) Calculation from fundamental frequency components: Reactive power is calculated based on the
fundamental voltage and current values.
2) Calculation from RMS values: Reactive power is calculated based on the RMS voltage and current values
(including harmonics).
Reactive power and apparent power values can vary according to the method of calculating reactive power.
As the apparent power value changes, the power factor also changes.
Apparent power per phase is calculated with the vector sum of active power and reactive power.

Three-Phase Power
There are two methods for calculating the total three-phase reactive power(Qt) and apparent power(St).
1) Vector sum: The total apparent power is calculated based on the vector sum of three phase power.
2) Arithmetic sum: The total apparent power is calculated based on the arithmetic sum of three phase
power.
Total apparent and reactive power values can vary according to the method of calculating the total three
phase apparent power. As the total apparent power value changes, the total PF also changes.
The total reactive power is calculated by adding up the reactive power for each phase.

Power Factor(PF)
PF
Power Factor is the ratio of active power to apparent power. The sign of a power factor value is a positive
or negative value according to the sign of active power. A positive PF indicates the power is in received
status, and a negative PF indicates the power is in delivered status. If the apparent power is 0, the power
factor cannot be calculated. In this case, it can be set to 1.0 or 0.0, and the default value is 1.0.

The sign of the power factor can be removed through configuration. In this case, the received/delivered
status cannot be identified only through the power factor. How to calculate the PF when its sign is removed
is as follows.

PF Angle (Lead/Lag)
The following figure shows the relationship between the sign of the power factor and Leading/Lagging
power factors for phase angles of voltage and current in the 4 quadrants. When reactive power(Q) is zero,
it is neither in leading nor lagging status.
Energy
Active Energy
Active power is accumulated in the unit of Wh for each sign. Active power data are displayed on the screen
of Accura 2500D and provided via communication in the unit of kWh. If the unit of energy is changed from
kWh to Wh through device setup, active energy is displayed on the screen of Accura 2500D and also
provided via communication in the unit of Wh.
The accumulated value for positive active power refers to received active energy, indicating power is
consumed. However, the accumulated value for negative active power refers to delivered active energy,
indicating power is supplied. Sum(Total) energy refers to the value obtained by adding delivered energy to
received energy. Net energy is the value obtained by subtracting delivered energy from received energy.

Reactive Energy
Reactive power is accumulated in the unit of VARh for each of the four quadrants. The screen of Accura
2500D displays reactive energy in the unit of kVARh. If the unit of energy is changed from kWh to Wh
through device setup, reactive energy is displayed on the screen of Accura 2500D and also provided via
communication in the unit of VARh.
The accumulated values for positive reactive power in quadrants 1 and 2 indicate positive reactive energy.
The accumulated values for negative reactive power in quadrants 3 and 4 indicate negative reactive energy.

Demand
Demand Measurement
Demand time(Tdmd) is determined by multiplying a demand subinterval(Tsub) by the number of demand
subintervals. The average value of the demand time(Tdmd) is calculated over the sliding demand subinterval.
Peak demand is the maximum value obtained after the reset of the maximum and minimum values.
Demand time(Tdmd) [minute] = demand subinterval (Tsub) x the number of demand subintervals
E.g.) In Korea, 15 minutes is used as a demand subinterval, and the number of demand subintervals is 1.

demand output 3.47 3.20 3.93 4.37 3.87 (updated every Tsub)
Thermal Demand
The thermal demand(Pth) is calculated through the 1st-order LPF(low-pass-filter) as shown in the following
formula that includes the demand value(P) and the t value. The thermal demand(Pth) value is used to calculate
predicted demand.
1 1
𝑃𝑡ℎ [𝑛] = (1 − ) ∙ 𝑃𝑡ℎ [𝑛 − 1] + ∙ 𝑃[𝑛]
𝜏 𝜏
Here, τ refers to the thermal time constant, and it is calculated through the following formula, including the
thermal response index.
Predicted Demand
Predicted demand indicates that the demand at the end of the demand subinterval(Tsub) is predicted every
second while the subinterval continues. The average value of the current demand subinterval is calculated
every second, assuming that the thermal demand value remains constant during the remaining subinterval
while the current demand subinterval continues. Based on the average value, the predicted demand value
at the end of the demand subinterval is calculated.
Demand Sync
Accura 2500 supports two methods for synchronizing the starting time of a demand subinterval.
1) Hourly Auto Sync: automatically synchronizes the starting time of a demand subinterval every hour
2) Manual Sync: synchronizes the starting time of a demand subinterval at the time users issue a sync
command
For Hourly Auto Sync, synchronization is performed every 60 minutes. Thus, demand calculation is performed
only when the demand subinterval is an integer divided by 60. (demand subinterval(Tsub) = 1 minute, 2
minutes, 3 minutes, 4 minutes, 5 minutes, 6 minutes, 10 minutes, 12 minutes, 15 minutes, 20 minutes, 30

Events
Power Quality Events
Factories, including semiconductor manufacturing plants need high quality power due to sensitive
manufacturing equipment and demanding manufacturing process control. For assessment of the power
quality of the supplied power, Accura 2500M supports Dip/Swell detection functions and three PQ curves,
such as SEMI F47-0706, IEC 61000-4-11/34 Class 3 and ITIC. It continuously generates RMS voltage values per
cycle to assess power quality. It generates RMS values of line-to-neutral voltages and line-to-line voltages
in 3P4W mode and in 3P3W mode, respectively. For power quality(PQ) events, it provides RMS trend data
measured over 1 cycle, as well as data on depth and duration.
Users can check power quality events through the events list in the event mode on Accura 2500D module.
The graph screen provides data on depth and duration, enabling users to view data on the power quality
events that have occurred at a glance. Also, it offers 1-cycle RMS trend data for three frames (before/when/
after the event occurs), which allows for detailed analysis of the event.
Accura 2500M also supports the function of detecting transient voltage events to monitor voltage transients
measured in three phases. It performs voltage sampling at a rate of 512 samples per cycle and monitors
differences between sampled voltage values. By providing waveform data measured over one half cycle
before and after a transient voltage event occurs, it allows for analysis of transient voltages. Accura 2500M
monitors line-to-neutral voltages and line-to-line voltages in 3P4W mode and 3P3W mode, respectively.
Dip(Sag)/Swell
Dip/swell functions operate based on the threshold and hysteresis set by users.

PQ Curve
Accura 2500M provides assessment of PQ curves, including standards such as SEMI F47-0706, IEC 61000-4-
11/34 Class 3 and ITIC. The thresholds of the PQ curve are 90 %/110 % of the reference voltage, and the
hysteresis level is 2 % of the reference voltage. Users can set up the reference voltage of Accura 2500M.

Transient Voltage
Accura 2500M supports the function of detecting transient voltage events to monitor voltage transients
measured in three phases.
Measurement Events
Measurement events include voltage connection, current, leakage current, and user-defined events. There
are phase open and fuse fail events in voltage connection events. When connected to a grounded 3P3W
system, the device does not detect phase open and fuse fail events.
Current events refer to events on the current values measured by Accura 2550 modules while leakage current
events refer to events on the leakage current values measured by the 2550CMZ module. Users can configure
event detection modes, thresholds, and hysteresis values for current and leakage current events occurring
in each module on the Accura 2500D’s setup screen.
For user-defined events, users can set up input data and event detection methods via communication. Up
to 40 user-defined events are supported and can be set up with channels ranging from 1 to 40.
Accura 2500M module manages all events including events on Accura 2550 modules. Users can check event
data through the events list in the event mode on Accura 2500D module. Since RMS trend data measured
over one cycle are provided for three frames at the time an event occurs(before/when/after the event occurs),
users can conduct detailed analysis of events.
Current Events
Current events are divided into “Over” or “Under” events according to the current values measured by Accura
2550 modules at 0.2-second intervals. Users can configure threshold and hysteresis values for each 2550CM[Z]
module on the Accura 2500D’s setup screen. For details about event detection modes, refer to 「Chapter 6
Functions> Events > Measurement Events > User-Defined Events > Event Detection」.
User-Defined Events
The following figure shows the block diagram of user-defined events for a channel. A total of 40 channels
can be set up via communication. User-defined events feature “Event Input Data” related to selecting event
input data, “Event Detection” related to processing events, and “Event Notification” sections related to
notifying users of the occurrence of events.
Event Detection
Event detection modes support “Over/Under/Off” items. “Over” refers to detecting events with values greater
than “Threshold” while “Under” refers to detecting events with values smaller than “Threshold”. “Off” refers
to deactivating the event detection function.
When “Over” is selected, if an event input value exceeds the Threshold in steady state, a Pickup Event occurs.
If it remains during “Time delay”, a Start Event occurs. If the input value drops below the “Threshold –
Hysteresis” level and returns to the normal mode, an End Event occurs.
When “Under” is selected, if an event input value exceeds the “Threshold” in steady state, a Pickup Event
occurs. If it remains above the “Low Limit” level during “Time delay”, a Start Event occurs. If the input value
gets back above the “Threshold + Hysteresis” level and returns to the normal mode, an End Event occurs.
If an event input value gets smaller than the “Threshold” and drops below the “Low Limit” within “Time
delay”, a Start Event does not occur. However, if the event input value gets back to the steady state, a Start
Event occurs.
Start, End, and Pickup events are supported by default. However, users can deactivate the function to detect
pickup events only via communication.

Event Notifications
When a user-defined event occurs, it is recorded into an event log, and the device provides users with
notifications. In case of occurrence of an event, the EVENT LED flashes, and the color of the bell icon on the
upper right side of the screen is changed.
System Events
System events include events on module controls, communication status, and setup change. System events
are recorded into event logs, and when an event requiring inspection occurs, the device provides users with

Aggregation
Accura 2500M/2550 modules perform gapless sampling of voltage and current and generate one-cycle data
for each cycle. It also aggregates the data over either 12 cycles (for 60 Hz) or 10 cycles (for 50 Hz) to
generate 0.2-second frame data. Based on the 0.2-second data(Aggregation 0), it provides data aggregated
over intervals of 1 second or longer.
For general measurement parameters including voltage, current, power, and IO modules’ analog input and
output data, Accura 2500M provides the average/maximum/minimum values, and timestamp data for the
maximum/minimum values within an aggregation interval. It enables statistical analysis of measurement data.
The average value indicates the average of the values measured for 0.2 seconds within an aggregation
interval. The maximum and minimum values indicate the maximum and minimum values among the values
measured for 0.2 seconds during the aggregation interval. The timestamp data for the maximum/minimum
values indicate the time difference between the start time of the aggregation interval and the occurrence
time of the maximum/minimum values. Therefore, the actual time data can be obtained by adding the start
time of the aggregation interval to the time difference.
For specific measurement parameters including energy, demand, and IO modules’ digital input/output data,
the device provides the data measured for the last 0.2 seconds by latching the data. It enables users to
collect accurate data measured for the last 0.2 seconds within an aggregation interval with flexibility in time.
Accura 2500M provides six fixed aggregation intervals, as well as five user-defined aggregation intervals that
enable users to set up the aggregation interval and the offset time for the start of the aggregation interval.
Fixed Aggregation
Accura 2500M provides six fixed aggregation intervals from Aggregation 1 through 6 (1 second, 5 seconds,
1 minute, 5 minutes, 1 hour, and 6 hours). For fixed aggregation intervals, the offset time for the start time
of the aggregation interval is fixed to zero. That is, the start time of the aggregation interval is set to start
at 0 hours 0 minutes 0 seconds. To set the offset time to a non-zero value, you should use the user-defined
aggregation function.
The displayed values on the LCD screen of Accura 2500D module are values measured during the 1-second
aggregation interval. The Max/Min values shown on the LCD screen are the maximum and minimum values
among the frame data obtained after resetting the max/min values, which are also provided via
communication through “Aggregation 255” setup.
User-Defined Aggregation
Accura 2500M provides 5 user-defined aggregation intervals from Aggregation 11 to 15 that allow users to
arbitrarily set up the offset time for the aggregation interval and the start time.
If the offset setting is 0, the aggregation interval starts at 0 hours, 0 minutes, 0 seconds. For example, if you
want to collect the average data during 1-hour intervals at 10 minutes of each hour, you need to select one
of the aggregation intervals from Aggregation 11 to 15, set the aggregation interval to 3,600 seconds, and
set its offset time to 600 seconds.
By selecting an aggregation interval, users can collect data on the selected aggregation interval via
communication using the Modbus map. Because the aggregated data are stored in the circular buffer in
Accura 2500M module for a certain period of time, users can collect aggregated measurement values with
greater flexibility.
The above table shows the sizes of the circular buffer for each aggregation interval. The recent circular index
can be easily identified because the circular buffer index is rotated within the range of 0 to 9,999, which is
greater than the buffer length.

1. It is provided with the product. Additional cables needed for a ring topology are sold separately.

It is recommended to keep a distance of over 5 mm from the power lines generating high levels of noise.
2. The data are available only via communication.
3. It is only supported in Accura 2550CMMZ module.
Connecting Accura 2500M module to multiple Accura 2550 modules causes the following limitations.
1) Limitation in the length of the communication cable due to voltage drops
2) Limitation in the number of connectable modules due to power consumption
3) Limitation in the number of connectable modules in a group: up to 30 modules
Therefore, check connectivity of modules in advance using the 「Power Supply/Communication Cable
Simulator for Accura 2500/2550」 provided separately for connection of multiple Accura 2550 modules with
different current consumption values. Before connecting modules, you can select the length of each
communication cable, the module type, and the number of connectable modules. If a limitation in connecting
modules occurs due to voltage drops or different power consumption, a warning window appears to inform
users that modules cannot be connected under the selected condition.
The entire communication cable length in a group is up to 50 m, and each cable should be up to 10 m.
However, the voltage drop on the cable caused by power consumption of Accura 2550 modules can limit
the cable length and the number of connectable Accura 2550 modules.
It is recommended to connect a module with high power consumption close to Accura 2500M when
connecting multiple Accura 2550 modules. It is because it causes less voltage drop on the communication
cable, enabling users to connect more modules.
The following table shows the power consumption for different types of Accura 2550 modules.
Accura 2500M’s power source supplies power up to 15 W based on the output voltage of 5 V. Its power
consumption is up to 7 W. Thus, when connecting modules, you should refer to the power consumption of
each module to ensure that the total power consumption of connected modules does not exceed 8 W.
The table below shows the number of connectable Accura 2550 modules when the cable length between
the port on Accura 2500M and the first Accura 2550 module is 3 m, and the cable length between the rest
of the modules is 10 cm, 20 cm, or 30 cm in a single group. Even though the total power consumption of
connected modules does not exceed 8 W, up to 30 Accura 2550CM[Z] modules can be connected in a single
group. The following table shows the number of connectable Accura 2550 modules decreases when
connecting modules with higher power consumption.
Note
Check connectivity of modules in advance using the Power Supply/Communication Cable Simulator for
Accura 2500/2550 provided separately for connection of multiple Accura 2550 modules with different
power consumption values.
Connection using a single port (No Ring) Connection using two ports (No Ring) Connection using two ports (Ring)
The two ports used in a single group as shown in the above figure have the same functions. A ring topology
enables communication redundancy, which enhances communication reliability.
When it is not possible to connect Accura 2500M to all Accura 2550 modules in a single group, connect the
modules that can be connected in a single group and then connect Accura 2500M to the rest of the modules
using ports in the other group. Up to 40 Accura 2550 modules can be connected to Accura 2500M using
ports in two groups.
