Get the job done quickly and easily with the 424’s powerful loader. Parallel lift
loader arms with high breakout forces and increased dump height offers fast
and powerful loading and dozing performance. Combined with the high-torque
engine, the loader feels smooth and responsive to operate, putting you firmly
in control.
The strong hoe and excavator-style boom give you extended reach over trucks
and obstacles. You can load trucks from close by, and dig deep through the
toughest earth and rocks. With a bucket that rotates 205 degrees, digging is
easy with minimal spillage so you can get the job done fast.

SAVE UP TO 20% FUEL*

This machine is powered by a Caterpillar BS-V engine that’s been tried and tested with customers
across India. Our new engine technology, delivers peak torque as high as 424Nm with an optimal
engine capacity of 3.6L, which delivers more power for 4 wheel drive functions. This machine uses
10% less fuel than our previous Backhoe Loader without compromising on power. You can save a
further 10% in fuel by switching the machine to Eco Mode.
The 424 is also the first Backhoe Loader in India to meet the engine emissions regulations set for 2024.
This means that the engine offers long-term peace of mind, performance and value whether you plan to
keep or re-sell.

When you spend long hours in a cab, it needs to be safe and comfortable. That’s why
we’ve created a stylish, comfortable and spacious environment for you in the 424.
For your improved operation and safety there is excellent all-round visibility. This
machine offers the highest industry standards of protection from rolling over (ROPS)
and falling objects (FOPS).
To make sure you are as comfortable as possible, the 424 includes a suspension seat
and seals around the doors and windows to keep noise and vibrations to a minimum.
The 424 is the first Backhoe Loader in India to offer windows on the doors, so you can
enjoy ventilation and communicate easily with colleagues.

Although the windows open as standard on the 424, nothing

air ducts on the front and back of the cab, you’ll be surrounded
