We are once again in that special time of the year where there is
peace, joy and great tidings. It is the season of love, sharing and
forgiveness.
R u guys and gals ready for a Christmas ride with us?
Hope on the sleigh with us – Natalia, Jerry, Joanna, Manna and
Alfino
jo : Today, We have with us a mixed bag of dances, skits, carols
and many more just for your enjoyment! We hope the wide array
of programs lined up for the day are entertaining and get you in
the christmas mood.
jer :Starting your day with a faithful prayer imbues every step
with a sense of purpose and direction. let’s all rise for the prayer
song by the school choir.
(everyone except manna leaves)
manna: thank you choir. May I now invite Mrs Dezeela Susan K,
our vice principal to read from the scripture.
(Alfino enters)
alf : Thank you ma'am, to invoke the blessings from our lord
almighty, I invite our school Chaplain Rev Mathew K John to lead
us in prayer.
(Natalia enters)
nat : thank you achan. May I now invite Joshua George Koshy,
our head boy to welcome the gathering.
(Joanna and Manna enter)
jo : thank you joshua. hey, do you hear that?
Manna : hear what?
jo : sounds like Christmas bells are ringing!
manna : Heralding the arrival of Christmas at STCS,the
students from the junior section are here to perform a Christmas
carol, let’s give them a big round of applause as we welcome them
onto the stage.
(Alfino and Natalia enter)
Alfino : what a lovely performance by the carol singers
nat : may i now invite our chief guest of the day, rev. dr. eappen
varghese, to kindly share his thoughts on this occasion.
(jo and Jerry enter)
jo : thank you achan for inspiring us with your words.
jerry : to revel in the christmas spirit, our school conducted
a series of competitions such as christmas quiz, poster designing,
card making, elocution, inter house christmas tree decoration to
name a few .It’s now time to honour the prize winners.
May i invite the chief guest to honor the budding talents of STCS

And now, as a token of our sincere gratitude and appreciation for
gracing us with your presence, we would like to present a small
token of our love to our esteemed Chief Guest. May i request
principal sir to do the honors.
Jer: May I invite Adisheshan J Singh ,Assistant head boy to express
our gratitude to our chief guest.

manna: Thank you Adisheshan
now let us call upon students from the senior section to cast a
magic spell with their melodious voices and transport us to a
world of holiday cheers, fun and frolic.

Joanna : that was a perfect blend of harmony and rhythm
(silent night song plays and fades out)
jer: we have a special treat for you by the enthusiastic stars
of the middle school section, the nativity play, it’s a reminder of
the story that lies at the heart of christmas.
alf: the nativity scene is a portrayal of the birth of jesus
christ, a long standing tradition and an integral part of christmas
celebrations.
jerry: now lets journey back in time and reenact the birth of
our saviour.
(Alfino and Nat)
Nat: thank you dear stars that was a feast for the eyes a sojour to
the holy land of bethlehem on a cold wintry night.
Alf: in our school there are a set of people who are very good at
multitasking -our teachers. We see them lecturing and the next
moment screaming at an inattentive brat. They will admonish,
advice, correct, narrate stories, train the little ones to dance,
sing.....
nat : Hold on....It is not teachers day today.
Alf: I know I know our teacher nightingales are here to entertain
us with a melodious christmas carol.
Enter Joanna and Manna)
Manna: thank you, dear teachers, for the melodious
rendition.
(joanna comes singing)
manna: joanna did we give an overdose of carols to our dear
audience?, why not have some foot tapping music and peppy
dance numbers?
manna: we have the 9th and the 11th graders to rock the
stage!!
(Enter Alfino and Jerry)
Jerry:thank you for the electrifying performance.
Alfino: could a christmas celebration ever be complete
without a skit? Give it up for our dear friends who will showcase
an entertaining performance for us!
Jerry: what a captivating skit! We have one more
performance by melodious carol singers of stcs. Let’s welcome
them on stage.
Alf: Ho! Ho! Ho! Gentlemen and ladies, Boys and Girls, Lend
me your ears for the much awaited moment of the year, the jolly
old man with his big bag of gifts will be making his appearance
soon.
Jerry: Are you guys ready for a countdown to welcome
Santa to STCS family. Shout 10,9,8........

Natalia: I truly wish christmas celebration would last for an
hour more.
manna: That is the magic of christmas. It leaves you wanting
for more and keeps you waiting till the end of the year. Thank you
all for being such a wonderful audience.
Nat: Now may I invite our head girl, Sana Mohammed to propose
the vote of thanks.
