Individual Assignment I: (10 Points)

1. What advantages do you gain by studying philosophy?

Give emphasis to the needs of human beings with regard to fulfilling both

maintenance and actualizing needs.

2. Explain the meaning and concept of Argument. Describe what non-

argumentative Passages are and elaborate the difference between

Arguments and non-argumentative passages. Substantiate your point by

giving illustrations for both.

3. Define what Deductive Argument means and Inductive Argument is. Write

the difference between Deductive Argument and Inductive argument. Give

examples for both forms of arguments.
