Keyboard Shortcuts Page --1

Keystroke Shortcuts for the ShopBot Control System Software (Sb3).

From the ‘Ready Prompt’ … (with cursor in yellow command box)


{Note that ALL ShopBot Commands can be accessed with two keystrokes, as
indicated in menu drop-downs}

K => Opens KeyPad window (same as [SK] or button)


Ctrl R => Re-runs current Part File (last file ran with [FP]; or button)
Ctrl E => Opens current Part File for Editing (or button)
ENTER/ENTER/ENTER
=> Steps through selection and re-start of
current file (allows modifying previous choices)
Alt L => Load a Part File (same as [FP])

Alt 1 thru 8 => Toggle specified Output Switch ON or OFF (also active
in Keypad Mode)

When Running a Part File


Spacebar, Enter, click => Stops a running File (if speed is over
3”/sec, then a ramped stop with pull-up
occurs)
S => Stops running File with ramp and pull-up

Shift > => Increase Move Speed on-the-fly


Shift < => Decrease Move Speed on-the-fly

Shift + => Increase Spindle Speed (if installed)


Shift - => Decrease Spindle Speed (if installed)

In Keypad Mode … with yellow keypad displayed


Arrow Keys => Move Tool in XY directions
PageUp, PageDN => Move Z up and down; with Alt for A-axis; with Shift
for B-axis
/ (forward slash) => Diagonal Move towards upper right
\ (backward slash) => Diagonal Move towards lower right
Alt / (forward slash) => Diagonal Move towards lower left
Alt / (backward slash) => Diagonal Move towards upper left
[diagonal moves also with click between buttons]
Ctrl Arrow, Page, or / => Jog Speed Move (max speed 10”/sec)
E (toggle) => Activate remote (typically 3 mouse buttons)
X (toggle) => All Moves made at Jog Speed
D (toggle) => Make Fixed Distance moves (set in [VD] or panel)
G => Go To location set in keypad display

In Preview Mode
Left click with motion => Use current navigation in Preview Window
Right click in window => Toggle through navigation modes
Alt R => Switch to ROTATE navigation mode
Alt P => Switch to PAN navigation mode
Alt Z => Switch to ZOOM navigation mode
Alt T => Zoom to a full Table View
Alt S => Set Current View as Custom View
Alt U => Zoom to a Custom View
Alt H => Zoom to a View from the Home Corner
Alt E => Zoom to a View of the Extents of Part File
Alt C => Clear Preview Screen
