Component: PP-FIO (Production Planning and Control > Fiori UI for Production Planning and Control),
Version: 2, Released On: 05/27/2021

Symptom
The user is not able to configure a Fiori App as per the Fiori Library. The ICF or the OData cannot be found in the system, and
it is not clear if the app is available for the current release installed.

Environment
SAP ERP Fiori UI for Production Planning (PP-FIO)
SAP ERP Fiori UI for Material Requirements Planning (PP-FIO-MRP)
SAP ERP Fiori UI for Production Orders (PP-FIO-SFC)
SAP R/3
SAP R/3 Enterprise
SAP ERP Central Component
SAP ERP
SAP Enhancement package for SAP ERP
SAP Enhancement package for SAP ERP, version for SAP HANA

Reproducing the Issue


- User is trying to configure a Fiori App but it is not clear if the app is available for the current installed version.
or
- User is trying to configure a Fiori App but it is not clear what are the required components to install it.
or
- User is accessing the transaction SICF and there the required ICF is not available.
or
- User is accessing the transaction /N/IWFND/MAINT_SERVICES and there the required OData is not available.

Resolution
1. Make sure that the correct version is installed according to the releases below. In PP-FIO different versions of
UIS4HOP1 and S4CORE components are not supported.
Release 1610: S4CORE 101 | UIS4HOP1 200
Release 1709: S4CORE 102 | UIS4HOP1 300
Release 1809: S4CORE 103 | UIS4HOP1 400
Release 1909: S4CORE 104 | UIS4HOP1 500
Release 2020: S4CORE 105 | UIS4HOP1 600

2. Access the Fiori Library for the relevant app.

3. Go to the tab 'Implementation Information' and select a delivery. Two options can be displayed for the apps depending
on the field 'Required Back-End Product':
Example 1: Manage Material Coverage
> Apps available for S/4HANA versions have the required back end as 'SAP S/4HANA' and are displayed with the
version for example 'SAP S/4HANA 2020 FPS01'.
Example 2: Production Order Confirmation
> Apps available for ECC versions have the required back end as 'SAP ERP' and are displayed with the delivery for
example 'Delivery Q1/2018'.

4. Expand the section 'Installation' and check the required components. Make sure that the prerequisites are installed
while using the relevant app.
Example: Manage Material Coverage with delivery 'SAP S/4HANA 2020 FPS01'
