Demo’s instructions

(Structure demo)
Students’ Level: Level 1 (A1 students).
Teachers’ expectations: Students of this level can humbly form very
simple sentences.
Demo’s objectives: To introduce the students to use the third person of
the present simple tense using the daily routine vocabulary they have
learnt.
Duration of the demo: 10 mins.

Meaning How would you deliver the meaning of


the structure? Using what context?
(please bear in mind that structure is not
to be explained explicitly)

Pronunciation How would you make sure that students


are getting the proper pronunciation of
the vocabulary? Through what exactly?

Form and use (when to use the rule) Don’t you think it is essential to write
down the structure examples on the
board? What would you highlight then?

Checking understanding activity What kind of activity or game would you


use to make sure that your students
understood the structure you explained?
