Project Objective

Create a system through which physicians can track appointments, patient records, and financial
transactions and even be effectively integrated with existing healthcare technology, which is essential in
the current world. The system has to be user-friendly, secure, and efficiently integrated.

Project Scope

Included: Appointment scheduling, patient records, billing, third-party integration, and security.
Excluded: Telemedicine features, non-healthcare software

Risk Management

1. Potential Risk: Some of the problems reported by the customers include delayed integration with other
software used in the organization.
Mitigation Strategy: Implement early communication protocols with the external software vendors and
guarantee modularity in the integrating platform.

2. Potential Risk: The protection of data and cases of leakage.


Mitigation Strategy: This means that patient records should be encrypted just like other files, and there should
be security checks and compliance with the HIPAA rules of current status.

3. Potential Risk: Overexpenditure caused by additional technicalities that arose when implementing the
project.
Mitigation Strategy: Since it’s nearly impossible to estimate all the possible expenses that may arise during the
contract, a contingency allowance of 10% should be set aside, and spending should be overseen closely.
