Date: 14.12.2024, Saturday
Venue: SKPIMCS Campus, GH-6, Sector-23, Gandhinagar-382023
Time: 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM

IT-FEST-2024 (Technical Competitions) and Venue:

1. Tech Talk (Presentation) MCA Laboratory-1
2. Project Presentation MCA Laboratory-2
3. Dynamic Web page creation BCA Laboratory-1
4. Digital Poster-making BCA Laboratory-2
5. Error Finding/Debugging BCA Laboratory-3
6. IT Quiz BCA Laboratory-4

General Rules for all Competitions:

1) Current Students of BCA and MCA can take part in ANY ONE of the competitions.
2) Registration process will be closed by Thursday 12th December 10 AM.
3) Students must be present in Formal Dressing.
4) Reporting time for the competition is 8.55 AM on 14th December. 2024 at
the respective venue of the competitions.
5) The time of the competition will be from 9.00 AM to 10.30 AM Only.
6) All the team members must be present during the event otherwise the entire team will
be disqualified.
7) Judge’s/Expert’s decision will be considered as final.
8) Tech Talk, Best Project, IT Quiz are group events. Each participant in a group has to
fill Google registration form.
9) If student has any query in any competition, kindly contact to Dr. Rakesh
Bhatanagar, Dr. Shivani Trivedi, Prof. Priyanka Shah, Prof. Jagat Chaudhari.
Rules and Regulations for each Competition:

1. Tech Talk (Presentation)

a. Each team has 7 minutes for Presentation.


b. Each Team can have a minimum of one to a maximum of 3 participants.
c. Presentation Topics are:
1. AI for Climate Change Monitoring
2. Emotion AI: Machines That Understand Us
3. Big Data in Predictive Analysis
4. Quantum Computing: The Next Frontier
5. Blockchain in Healthcare
d. Each Team should bring Presentation soft copy in pendrive or laptop
e. Presentation content should be relevant to the topic.
f. Professional way of communication and Professional Dressing is required.
g. Quality of Answers Replied in Que - Ans Section(1 min).

2. Project Presentation
a. Each team has 7 minutes for Project Presentation.
b. Project must be completed and live.
c. Each Team can have a minimum of one to a maximum of three members.
d. Project may be a Web site, Application, or Physical working model.
e. Each Team should represent the importance of the project, the objective of the project, the
functionalities of the project, and the live model.
f. Quality of Answers Replied in Que - Ans Section(1 min).

3. Dynamic Web page creation


a. Participant should create web pages based on a specific theme. The theme will be given at
the time of the Competition.
b. Each candidate should have knowledge of web development technology like Javascript,
CSS, HTML, PHP, Python, or ASP.NET for the creation of a web pages or website.
c. Participants should also create web pages having a menu, content, header, footer,
navigation link, login credentials, etc.
d. If any candidate is caught in malpractice during competition, he/she will be disqualified.

4. Digital Poster making:


a. Participants can make a digital poster using any designing tools like Canva, PowerPoint,
Paint, etc.
b. Participants should complete the poster within time line boundary.
c. Poster topic will be given at the time of the Competition.
5. IT Quiz
a. The quiz will be based on Computer Science.
b. This is a group event. Each Team can have 3 Participants. All 3 participants have
to fill out individual Google form.
c. There will be 3 rounds.
d. The First Round will be the Knockout round.
e. The Second Round will be the Buzzer round.
f. The Third Round will be Rapid Fire round.
g. Elimination is in every round based on marks.
h. The final decision made by the organizing team should be considered.

6. Error Finding

a. Questions will be based on any concept of Computer science,


b. From the block of code, the Participant has to find out the error.
