Sentinel Admin Control Center Configuration 1
To allow access from remote clients on the computer that the hardware key will be connected
to and that the MotoSimEG-VRC software has been installed on (the Sentinel License Manager
is installed and packaged with the MotoSimEG-VRC install).
Ensure port 1947 is open in any firewall, make sure no application is using port 1947 and no
antivirus is blocking it as well.
Install MotoSimEG-VRC on the server that will have the USB dongle attached. Once installed
perform the following steps to enable the server to accept the license request form the client
which will be running MotoSimEG-VRC.

Select ‘Configuration’ from under Options.
Select ‘Access from Remote Clients’ from the tabs across the top.
The Access Restrictions section defines the restrictions that will be imposed on remote
machines accessing the Sentinel License Manager.

Enter the data in the following format:
Allow=[item] and/or deny=[item], where [item] is an IP address or machine name. IP addresses
can include a wildcard (‘*’) or a range of addresses. The value of [item] can also be ‘all’ or
‘none’. Each entry must be on a separate line. The entries are evaluated in the order in which
they are specified.
Example:
Allow=10.24.2.18 single address
Allow=10.24.2.10-50 range of addresses (only fourth number may be a range)
Allow=10.24.2.* class C subnet
Allow=10.24.*.* class B subnet
Allow=10.*.*.* class A subnet
Allow=Computer name

Select the ‘Network’ tab from across the top and make sure that the ‘All Network Adapters’
radio button is selected.

Once the server is configured, install MotoSimEG-VRC on each client machine. Once installed
perform the following steps to set up the client to find the server licenses.
