In addition to listing the corrections below, they have been incorporated into the Corrected

Corrected Version of the Pre-Trial Chamber XV’s Decision supersedes the previous document.

CORRECTIONS/CLARIFICATIONS

Pre-Trial Chamber XV of the International Criminal Court (ICC) issues the following
corrections/clarifications to its decision on the Confirmation of Charges:

1. The reference to "Pre-Trial Chamber VI" in the first sentence of page 2 of the Pre-Trial
Chamber's decision is revised to read "Pre-Trial Chamber XV."

2. Paragraph 4 of the Pre-Trial Chamber's decision is revised to read: "The Republic of Sirax
ratified the Rome Statute on 30 August 2011, and the Treaty entered into
force for the Republic of Sirax on 1 November 2011. Sirax ratified the 1949 Geneva
Conventions in 1965 and the two Additional Protocols thereto in 1985." (Addition in bold).

3. The fourth sentence of the third paragraph on page 6 of the Pre-Trial Chamber's decision
(Paragraph 18, finding 2) is revised to read: "It is also significant that UNESCO had not
designated the archaeological ruins of Highcastle as a World Heritage site and the Republic of
Sirax did not consider the site of cultural significance." (Revision in bold).

4. Para. 8 of the Pre-Trial Chamber's decision is revised to read: "Armed with the UNESCO
Report, on 5 July 2022, the Office of the Prosecutor filed a request for authorization to
commence an investigation of the Situation in The Republic of Sirax pursuant to Article 15(3),
which a differently composed bench of the Pre-Trial Chamber authorized that same day."
(Revision in bold).

5. The second sentence of paragraph 7 of the UNESCO Report (Appendix C) is revised to read:
"Television news coverage of dozens of bulldozers descending on the site precipitated an
outcry by Alinda Jasper, the leader of the Karaxis party, and at her urging on 8 June 2021,
approximately 800 armed individuals associated with the Karaxis Party, most wearing
handmade armbands with dragon insignia, arrived at the site and blocked the demolition
from commencing." (Revision in bold).

6. The fourth sentence of paragraph 8 of the UNESCO Report (Appendix C) is revised to read:
"At Mayor Strong’s order, the demolition of the ruins began on 10 June 2021, and the
runway was completed on 18 June 2021 – erasing all signs of the ancient city and its
invaluable artifacts." (Revision in bold).

The Pre-Trial Chamber orders the Registrar to notify the parties and participants of these
corrections.
