GHIM
GHIM
First and foremost, we thank God so much for equipping us with the
knowledge and wisdom to serve through this three-day church workers'
programme. We are grateful for our Apostle, whom God mightily used to
download revelation from heaven, aligning us with His divine purpose and
the direction He wants us to take in His house.
On the third day, Apostle Ethan delivered a powerful and insightful teaching
on the theme "Understanding the Spirit of the Church (Ministry)."
Building on the foundation laid in the previous days, Apostle emphasized the
importance of understanding the spirit and vision of the church for effective
service. Below is a detailed breakdown of his message:
The dangers of not understanding the Spirit of the House can lead to
feelings of offense or disconnection, causing one to resist or fight the
work of God unknowingly.
Without catching the Spirit of the House, serving effectively becomes a
challenge.
A question may arise from believers "How do I catch the Spirit of the
Ministry?" Apostle explained that there are several aspects that one
must grasp in order to catch and flow with the Spirit of the House:
Habakkuk 2:2 was cited to highlight that a clear vision is essential for
everyone to understand and run with it.
The vision of GHIM is centred on manifesting the Kingdom of God by
raising an Apostolic generation. Every worker needs to understand this
vision and contribute toward its fulfilment.
Apostle Ethan emphasized that the Word of God is the foundation for all
principles governing GHIM. Everything taught and done in the ministry is
rooted in Scripture, ensuring that the work is grounded in biblical truth.
Commitment and integrity are core values within GHIM. Workers are
called to live lives that are not compromised by the world.
Faithfulness is key, and all standards in GHIM are Scripture-based,
ensuring that every member aligns their lifestyle with biblical
teachings.
Apostle Ethan explained that there is an anointing that rests upon the
leader of the church, and those who serve under that leader can
receive from this anointing.
1 Timothy 4:14 speaks of not neglecting the gift that comes through
impartation.
He also emphasized the importance of qualifying for the anointing,
using Elisha as an example (2 Kings 2:9). Elisha had to follow Elijah
closely to receive a double portion of his anointing.
Desiring the anointing on a leader is not an act of worship but one of
honour. Workers should desire to tap into the same anointing that
empowers the leader for their own ministry.
Understanding the source of the anointing is critical. It’s important to
honour and align oneself with the spiritual leadership to benefit from
the grace upon the house.
The service ended with the Apostle leading a powerful time of prayer, where
he laid hands on all those who had come for the Church Workers Training
Programme. He imparted them with the grace and spirit to serve excellently
in the house, empowering them to carry out their responsibilities with
dedication, wisdom, and alignment to the vision and anointing of GHIM.
Through this prayer, the workers were spiritually equipped to serve with a
renewed sense of purpose and commitment.
We thank God for His faithfulness throughout this training and for the
abundant grace imparted to us for effective service.
