Product Description
Classic 2K topcoats are premium Automotive topcoats based on polyurethane chemistry. It offers a hard, chemical resistant paint film with superior
gloss that lasts long. The product is available in various shades. It can be stoved at lower temperatures to enhance productivity without compromising
quality. This product has excellent gloss retention, adhesion, hardness, scratch resistance and extremely durable with non-yellowing characteristics.

This product is recommended to use for protection and decoration of all automotive metal substrates.

Application Guidelines
Surface Preparation:
Sand wood surface (New or previously coated) initially with emery paper No. 180 and followed by emery paper No. 220 or 320. Properly
remove all the dust by applying air or using rags and later wipe with PU Thinner. Make sure all the traces oil, dust and grease like
materials removed before application.
Paint System:
Epoxy Primer/ NC Primer/ PU primer – 1 Coat
Polyester Putty / NC Putty – 1 Coat
Classic 2K – 1 or 2 coats
Always sand the surface with fine emery paper before application of subsequent coat until smooth uniform finish is achieved.
Application Tools:
1. Conventional Air Spray: Recommended
2. Brush or Roller : Only where application with spray gun is not possible, but care should be taken to achieve
recommended DFT.
Air Pressure: 40 – 50 bar
Tip Size of spray gun: 1.2mm
Ensure adequate ventilation while spraying and drying
Substrate temperature must be 3°C above dew point
Recommended to mix thinner first with base and then add catalyst

Keep out of reach of children
Recommended to wear overalls, safety goggles and solvent mask while spraying
Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
First-Aid
Eyes : Immediately flush eyes with water and seek medical help
Skin : Use soap & water or appropriate cleaner
Inhalation : Allow to breath fresh air, loose the neckline and keep him/her rested
Ingestion : Obtain medical help without asking for omitting
